Avoir gagné à Newport constitue cela dit un vrai soulagement, car c’est la première victoire à l’extérieur de la saison. On a été réduits à quatorze pendant dix minutes, avec le carton jaune de David Skrela, et malgré cette absence à un poste très stratégique, on a réussi à bien gérer la rencontre. C’est encourageant. Au vu de votre domination dans le jeu, ce doit être rageant de ne pas avoir pris le bonus offensif ? C’est évidemment dommage. Mais il y a deux ans, nous avions joué à Newport et nous n’avions pas réussi à prendre le bonus non plus. Le point positif, c’est que ce succès a été acquis non pas avec facilité mais avec maîtrise. Il y a eu une très bonne entente entre les avants et les trois-quarts, ce qui nous a permis de concrétiser nos temps forts. Cela faisait quelques matchs que les joueurs du pack faisaient Oui, c’est certain.
