PhD opportunities at Cass Business School, City University Applications are sought from exceptional UK and overseas graduates and will be given to students on the basis of outstanding academic achievement and research potential in the following subject areas: Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Entrepreneurship and Innovation Human Resource Management Information Management Marketing Organization Theory or Behaviour Operations Management Public and Voluntary Sector Management Strategy Ranking Our recent REF 2014 results places us 6th in the UK and highlights the world class quality of Cass research, and recognises the impact it has on business, the professions and policymakers. The School provides a research and enterprise development programme to support the development of research skills and is a global University committed to academic excellence with a focus on business and the professions and an enviable central London location. Course Structure The PhD track lasts 4 years for students with first year students taking training courses across a range of topics as well as in research methodology. Years 2 through to 4 are devoted to working on the PhD dissertation. Please refer to https://www.cass.city.ac.uk/courses/phd/how-it-works Studentships We are offering also 11 PhD studentships comprising tuition fees and maintenance grant of £16,000 pa for four years, starting in October 2015. Studentships also offer funding for conference attendance, also for four years. PhD studies take place in a challenging and stimulating intellectual environment that questions received wisdom and explores the boundaries of knowledge.
