The total 662.95 acres set out for development, approximately 348.87 acres will be dedicated for airport development & balance 314.08 acres will be utilized in a phased manner for developing it commercially to enhance the profile of the place and to offset the development costs of the airport. 106 SHIMOGA AIRPORT DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN This is to certify that Mis. Services provided by the Consultants are: 1. Preparation of Master Plan of airside and landside 2. Preparation of Detailed Project Report These included: a. Traffic Forecast b. Project Management The project cost of the Airport development is as follows: o Shimoga Airport- Rs.2,247 million. The services of Frischmann Prabhu commenced in March 2008 and the works upto stage 3 has been completed in September 2010. Frischmann Prabhu was appointed Raslnfraport Ltd for design of multipurpose cargo excluding liquid and containers. Quay width will be 55m.The project includes the development of Backup area of around 21.70 ha.
