FLC EVENT DRESS CODE

WHITE TIE

Women wear a formal, floor-length evening gown along with long white gloves.

Men wear a long black jacket with tails, black pants, a white shirt, a white vest, white tie, and black shoes.

White gloves must be worn.

BLACK TIE

Women wear a floor-length evening gown, a knee-length dress with heels. Dressy separates, like a knee-length skirt and shell set, also work.

Men wear a tuxedo, a bow tie, a cummerbund or vest, white shirt, no gloves, shirt studs and cuff links, and black shoes. In the summer, a white dinner jacket with black tuxedo pants would be appropriate, along with the rest of the black-tie wardrobe.

BLACK TIE OPTIONAL

Women wear a floor-length gown, a knee-length cocktail dress or a dressy suit.

Men wear a suit and tie or a tuxedo.

COCKTAIL

Women wear a knee-length dress, or even dress pants or a skirt with a nice blouse.

Men wear jacket and slacks with a tie.

CLUBHOUSE CASUAL

Collared shirt and slacks with shirts tucked in. Jackets for gentlemen. Denim is not permitted. Caps and hats are also not permitted for gentlemen in the Clubhouse.

Ladies are permitted to wear smart denim (clean, no holes, rips, tears, tatters, frays, acid washed or faded) and dress accessories.

SPORTS/ OUTSIDE

Sport specific attire permitted for gentlemen, also, collared shirt and slacks or shorts. Shorts must measure a minimum of 16” on the out seam. T-shirts are not allowed; shirts must be tucked in; hats and caps are permitted; the bills of caps must face forward; and denim jeans are not permitted for gentlemen, unless club-authorized for approved events. Sandals and flip flops are permitted.

Women may wear shirts, dresses, skirts, slacks or shorts. Shorts must measure a minimum of 16” on the out seam. No denim shorts are permitted, but smart jeans allowed. Collared shirts are not required for women.

Same dress code applies for all children.
