The Persecution of i1 1 il" 73 i1 1 il" Volume Two ABOUT THE AUTHOR il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) was born October 27, 1935, m Kingsfisher, Oklahoma. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma; a Master's Degree in Economics from Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia; and studied law at Oklahoma University School of Law. il lil' 13 il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) served as a tactical instructor while serving in the United States Air Force. He received an honorable discharge. il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) came to Miami, Florida, alone in 1979 to become the Spiritual Leader and Founder of the Nation of il1il' (YAHWEH). Although He took a vow of poverty that same year, within 12 years He guided the Nation and those who followed His teachings and principles to amass an economic empire in Miami and throughout the United States worth over $250 million. Under His direction, the Nation of il1il' (YAHWEH) has grown to encompass disciples, followers, and supporters in over 1,300 cities within the United States and vi The Persecution of il 1 il., 13 il 1 il., Volume Two 16 foreign countries: such as, the Caribbean, Great Britain, Canada, Nigeria, and Ghana.     BlackChristian Apologetics Hebrew & Research Ministry Israelites by Ryan Turner (/ryan-turner) edited by Matt Slick (/matt-slick) Founder: Various leaders for different sects. There is no primary leader today. First started in the United States before the Civil War. Headquarters: Various major cities across the United States with state chapters. There does not appear to be a central headquarter of leadership for the movement. Membership: Approximately 200,000 among the dozens of offshoot branches. Approximately 50,000 Black Hebrews, while the number who follow some form of Judaism (broadly defined) could be up to 200,000. There is a vast amount of diversity amongst various groups who claim to be descendants of the ancient Israelites. It is difficult to distinguish between all the various offshoots and movements within the broad movement of "Black Jewish Identity." Therefore, the range of possible adherents could be between 40,000-200,000. Origins: One sect originated before the Civil War. There was another sect founded later in 1896, the Church of God and Saints of Christ, by William Crowdy. In the 1980s other sects began to appear, such as those lead by Yahweh Ben Yahweh (1935 - 2007), or Hulon Mitchell, Jr. There are a number of other sects of this broad Hebrew Israelite movement known as the Commandment Keepers, The Law Keepers, House of Judah, and the African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem, just to name a few.1 Practices: 1. Some groups stand on the street corners of major cities and condemn people for their allegedly false beliefs while using vulgar language.2 The Hebrew Israelites are very combative and generally do not want to listen when their views are challenged.3 2.

    THE WAR IN HEAVEN: The Unwarranted and Unprecedented Attack on The Nation of (Yahweh) by the U.S. Justice Department in its PROJECT MEGIDDO Report INTRODUCTION This article deals with how and why warlike strategies have been employed against The Nation of Yahweh to foster and incite hatred and violence against it and all of its citizens and followers. The Nation of Yahweh consists of a sovereign Hebrew Israelite people who share common customs, origin, history, culture, language, and religious belief based upon the commandments, judgments, laws, and statutes of God, , as taught by His Son, (Yahweh Ben Yahweh). The hostile assault upon The Nation of Yahweh was initiated by “words of war” currently found in the Project Megiddo report.     Cold Open: We got a doozy of a tale here today! Taking a break from recent stories full of insane white supremacists to tell a story full of insane black supremacists. Other side of the same coin today. The incredibly racist and also extra murder-y Nation of Yahweh cult. This especially violent cult was founded in Miami in 1979 by Hulon Mitchell, Jr., a super humble dude who told his followers that he was, you know, God in the flesh. He insisted that he be referred to by super modest monikers such as “Grand Master of All,” “the God of the Universe,” “The Grand Potentate,” “The Everlasting Father,” and of course “Yahweh ben Yahweh,” - Hebrew for “the Lord son of the Lord.” Seems a little redundant. Like asking to be called “God Lord” or “Deity God” It would’ve been more appropriate if he would’ve went by whatever “Colossal Piece of Shit” translates to in Hebrew. Yahweh ben Yahweh wanted followers who would do anything for him. Give their belongings to him. Give their souls to him. Give their bodies to him. Kill for him. He wanted a race war to break out and saw himself, obviously, on the winning side. He asked his followers to go “kill me a white devil and bring me an ear.” And he was brought ears. He built a large and powerful cult. At its peak, his empire’s value was roughly $100 million. He had over 4,000 followers, a huge temple, a four- story apartment building, restaurants, stores, houses and a hotel in Miami, and a hotel and restaurant in Atlanta as well as hundreds of white cars, vans, buses and 18-wheelers.

    Reversed racism:fundamentalist genealogies in African-American religions1 Hans Gerald Hödl As one of the consequences of the Atlantic slave trade,distinct religionsevolved among the descendants of the Africans brought to the Americas. As arule,Afro-Americans in Latin America developedtheir own religions (like SanteríainCuba or CandomblØ in Brazil),based on West or Central African cultural matrices using elements taken from other traditions the slaves were exposed to,like Christianity and Spiritism. In contrast to Latin America, in North America under colonial rule and in ante-bellum USA there emerged, for the main part, evangelicalforms of Christianity amongthe African Americans.Inthe class of those new religiousgroups outside mainstream Christianity that came into being amidst AfricanAmericans at the end of the 19th and throughout the 20th century,wefind so called “messianic-nationalist sects” (Baer /Singer) that have in common acriticism of American society,acentral myth about aglorious pastofthe “black race”,and the strive to re-establish black supremacy in agolden futureofthe “black race”. JACKSON, Jr. Résumé : Cet article évoque l’histoire de l’émigration des « Israélites africains hébreux de Jérusalem », un groupe d’Africains-Américains qui ont quitté les Etats-Unis pour l’Afrique de l’Ouest (puis pour l’Afrique du Nord-Est) à la fin des années 1960. Leur voyage reposait sur une forme de sensibilité afrocentriste, sur un mélange de réponses à l’appel de Marcus Garvey pour une politique centrée sur l’Afrique, et de revendications d’une altérité africaine ontologique. En somme, les mêmes revendications intellectuelles qui commençaient tout juste à être codifiées dans le monde universitaire américain par des académiques comme Molefi Kete Asante. Je soutiens que ces « Israélites africains hébreux » donnent à voir une forme complexe d’Afrocentrisme, une version hébraïcisée qui se conforme à certaines formes canoniques d’Afrocentrisme tout en échappant à d’autres. Their journey was predicated, I argue, on something similar to an Afrocentric sensibility, a mixture of Marcus Garvey-esque calls for an African-centered politics and claims about an ontological African alterity, the same intellectual claims that were just beginning to get codified in the American academy by scholars such as Molefi Kete Asante.

An Autoethnography of the Problem of Ethnic Suffering and Moral Evil in Black Judaism Andre Eugene Key Doctor of Philosophy Temple University, 2011 Doctoral Advisory Committee Chair: Nathaniel Norment, Jr. Ph.D. This study examines the problem of ethnic suffering and moral evil in Black Judaism. Black Judaism has been traditionally studied along anthropological and sociological lines, as a result, the core beliefs and theological issues which animate the faith tradition have not been the subject of critical study. This dissertation uses an African-American centered theoretical perspective and a black theology methodological approach to produce an autoethnography of my experiences living as a member of the Hebrew Israelite community. This study suggests that Black Judaism is best understood through an examination of the problem of black theodicy meaning the belief in an omnipotent and benevolent deity while acknowledging the historical oppression of African Americans. Black Judaism articulates a belief in black theodicy which asserts that African Americans are victims of divine punishment and must “repent” in order to experience liberation from ethnic suffering and moral evil in the form of anti-Black racism and white supremacy.
