This year's event is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 19 through 1 p.m. May 20 at the Lee County Sports Complex in Fort Myers, and will benefit the Lee County Unit of the American Cancer Society. "Through the Years" is this year's theme. The first and last laps of the Relay for Life will commemorate the "Celebration of Survivorship." The first lap is the Survivors' Lap and honors survivors' strength and courage in their battle with cancer. The Survivors' Lap begins at 6 p.m. on May 19., The second lap, the Caregivers' Victory Lap, honors the courageous efforts of all those who provide care to those living day-to-day WART with cancer. The Caregivers' Victory Lap is LOBOWSKI the final lap of the Relay for Life and begins at 11 a.m. on May 20.
