ROD STEWART FANS BRING ANOTHER FULL HOUSE TO HHT

On Saturday January 27th, the Historic Hemet Theatre hosted yet another successful Tribute Mania event, this time featuring Stewart Sher and "Forever Rod" in a wonderful tribute to Rod Stewart. This was the second concert in the 8-concert series and so far the events have been packed, but tickets have still been available at the door.

As usual, the crowd was cheering at the top of their lungs even before the band took the stage. This was the first appearance by this band in our valley and they were surprised and thrilled at the audience response. Dancers hit the floor with the first hit and packed the floor over and over again throughout the night.

Stewart Sher left the stage several times to sing to ladies on the dance floor and to wander up the aisles crooning to the crowd. The audience responded with loud applause and cheering with every classic Rod Steward hit. The show featured so many classics, including “Maggie May,” “Forever Young,” “Some Guys Have All the Luck,” “Rhythm of My Heart” and many more.

Afterwards, the band met with fans and posed for photos on the dance floor. The audience raved about the band and the band raved about the audience and the venue, promising to return anytime they get an invitation.

Meanwhile, ticket sales are still available for the Tribute to featuring Southbound and Company on Saturday February 10th at 7:00 pm. This is another new group for HHT, expanding the repertoire of the groups performing in the valley.

"Lynyrd Skynyrd and Frynds" will feature all of the 70's hits, including "," "," "What's Your Name," and "That Smell." Ticket sales are heating up, but will be available until the day of the show.
