SUMMARY This report, covering the period from October 25 through November 8, 2010, describes the electoral environment and reviews from a legal perspective the recent developments in the election campaign, and the performance of the electoral competitors and of the local and election authorities. The election campaign is becoming increasingly intense, with cases of intimidation and abuse being registered both against electoral competitors and voters. While engaged in various campaigning activities, some candidates resort to the misuse of administrative resources and offering of “electoral gifts”. Promo-LEX salutes the impartiality of the election authorities in performing their duties. The Central Election Commission registered until the end of the authorization period 40 electoral competitors and issued warnings to the contenders that violated the rules. -

FINAL REPORT Children in Moldova are Cared for in Safe and Secure Families project Implemented by Partnerships for Every Child January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2017 Partnerships for Every Child Partnerships for Every Child, Award No. APC-GM-0028, through Advancing Partners & Communities (APC), was funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development under Agreement No. AID-OAA- A-12-00047 and began October 1, 2012. APC was implemented by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., in collaboration with FHI 360. FREE ECONOMIC ZONE IN THE CITY OF REZINA 8.7 hectares - brownfield Bălți Rezina REZINA MUNICIPALITY Rezina municipality is in the northeastern part of Moldova, 98 km from Chişinău, the town is situated on the right bank of the Dniester, while across the river, at 3 km distance, there is another major city – Râbniţa. Strășeni The City of Rezina has a population of 11.5 thousand. It is the administrative centre of Rezina District. Rezina District consists of 41 localities and has 42.486 inhabitants, including the municipality. The closest railway station, 3 km from the city center, is in Râbniţa, while the major road connection “Orhei – Râbniţa” is going through the town. The industry is mainly represented by the cement factory Lafarge that is well known in the country and abroad, as well as food processing companies.
