DOWNEY – The Downey Police Department will be conducting roving DUI patrols this month, looking for drivers suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. DOWNEY – Downey will host its eighth annual National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 5:30-8:30 pm at the Civic Center. The free community event is celebrated across the country the first Tuesday in August.
