CORONAVIRUS Since June 8, 2020, the situation regarding Covid-19 has changed considerably in French Guyana.: June 14, 2020: Mr President of the Republic declares that the entire national territory is in the green zone with the exception of Mayotte and French Guyana, where "the virus is still actively circulating". June 15, 2020: French Guyana's passage to stage 3. June 22, 2020: Installation by the Territorial Collectivity of French Guyana (CTG) of a Territorial Scientific Committee, whose mission is to issue a certain number of recommendations to the health authorities, based on the evaluation of the epidemiological situation in the territory and to draw up a progress report on the actions carried out by the CTG. June 23-24, 2020: At the request of the Prime Minister, the Minister for Overseas France went to French Guyana to take stock of the health situation with regard to Covid- 19 with all the players (political, economic, socio-professional, etc.) and to discuss a possible reconfinement of French Guyana. FRENCH GUYANA Operations Despite the current health context in French Guyana, the process of restarting the Dieu Merci plant is underway, taking into account government restrictions and existing constraints, both in terms of personnel and supplies. In order to optimize the recovery rate of the leaching plant, the laboratory workers are continuing the analyses of the gold-bearing coal pulps (the usual procedure for leaching coal). Meanwhile, AMG is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Etienne Patris, who has nearly 40 years of mining experience, as Operations Manager for the site of Dieu Merci. Mr. Etienne Patris has already arrived in French Guyana, where he is carrying out his fortnight's work in accordance with health regulations. However, production will be below the budget forecasts established before the start of the pandemic. In May 2020, out of the 7,007 tons of ore extracted from the El Santo Mine, 6,938 tons of ore were processed by the Ana Mana plan: The helical conveyors installed have reduced the moisture content of the concentrates and thus improved their quality: o Zinc concentrate: 8.98% (compared to an initial forecast of 10) o Lead concentrate: 8.93% (compared to an initial forecast of 10% for lead concentrate). Production of metals from concentrates: o Gold: 4kg o Silver: 79,000 oz o Lead: 1,857 tons o Zinc: 2,561 tons 4 Maintenance work continued, in particular on the electrical switchboards at the El Santo mine.. Digging the trench for the installation of the drain Exploration A topographical survey of the Suyckutambo stockpiles was carried out, resulting in the modelling of 4,256 tonnes of ore. 5 POSTPONEMENT OF THE PUBLICATION OF THE 2019 ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT Given the situation of Covid-19 in French Guyana and Peru mentioned above and despite the involvement and efforts of all parties concerned, the process of verification of the 2019 annual financial statements by the Statutory Auditors in charge of the audit has not been completed to date. As a result, the Group will not be in a position to publish today its annual financial report on the parent company and consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2019. The Group is concentrating its efforts on publishing this report as soon as possible. It is based on field collections carried out between 1993-2008, museum collections and a literature review. Fourteen species, representing four tribes and six genera, are now known in this country and are illustrated (habitus). Three species are recorded from French Guiana for the first time: Cavernicola pilosa, Microtriatoma trinidadensis and Rhodnius paraensis. The two most common and widely distributed species are Panstrongylus geniculatus and Rhodnius pictipes. The presence of two species (Panstrongylus megistus and Triatoma maculata) could be fortuitous and requires confirmation. Also, the presence of Rhodnius prolixus is doubtful; while it was previously recorded in French Guiana, it was probably mistaken for R. robustus. A key for French Guiana’s triatomine species is provided. Ce numéro présente les principales conclusions que nous pouvons tirer des pullulations du mois de juillet. Depuis la mise en place de la Cellule, le premier janvier 2012, de nombreuses données ont été enregistrées. Les observations de chenilles (en mai et en juin) et de papillons (en juillet) ont été nombreuses et très différentes selon les communes et même au sein des différents quartiers de ces communes. Plusieurs habitants ont contacté le numéro de téléphone ou la boîte mail uniques de la CROPP, au cours du mois de juin, pour faire part de leurs observations de chenille. Ceci démontre d’un esprit citoyen qui a aidé à l’identification des zones pouvant ensuite être atteintes par les papillons. Ces observations sont en effet systématiquement relayées et vérifiées. Five decades later, after the January 2010 earthquake, the migratory spaces were intensified in the region, Brazil became part of them as a country of residence and transit to reach French Guiana and Suriname. In 2013, the routes were altered. Some migrants started to use the Republic of Guyana to enter Brazil through the border with Roraima, in the Amazon, or to cross the border towards Suriname and French Guiana. This article is divided into two levels. First, it describes the way in which migrants' practices and trajectories intersect national borders in the Guianas. Then, it analyzes the migratory system, documents and papers, and the problems that the different Haitian migratory generations raise in space and time. The ethnographic research is based on the Triple Border Brazil, Colombia and Peru, but also in Suriname, French Guiana and Haiti. Le CHG est actuellement le seul comité d’homologation en Amérique du sud, avec Trinidad & Tobago. Ce premier rapport couvre les deux mois de démarrage du comité en novembre–décembre 2005, puis les années 2006 et 2007.
