It's always been a money maker for Pauley - Tony's father, Johnny Soprano, had control over him before him - but a new parish priest believes that the $10,000 Poly contributes as the church's share is too low and believes $50,000 would be more appropriate. Pauley shies away from that figure, at least in part, he says, because his own spending is rising. One thing he does to save money to hire a second course of carnival rides, something that comes back to haunt him when one of the rides breaks down and people get injured. Pauley is also under a lot of stress after his doctor dislikes the results of his PSA test and is planning a biopsy. When Christopher's girlfriend Kelly tells him he is pregnant, he asks her to marry him. He is still struggling with his addiction however and falls off the wagon. Independent Mad-Scientist Secret Society Mockumentaries for Ages 11 to 12
8/15/2019 How Netflix Reverse-Engineered Hollywood - The Atlantic TECHNOLOGY How Netflix Reverse-Engineered Hollywood To understand how people look for movies, the video service created 76,897 micro-genres. We took the genre descriptions, broke them down to their key words … and built our own new-genre generator. ALEXIS C. MADRIGAL JAN 2, 2014 The Atlantic's Netflix-Genre Generator Independent Mad-Scientist Secret Society Mockumentaries For Ages 11 to 12 CREATE A GENRE: Gonzo (ultraniche genres) Hollywood (film-making cliches) Netflix (mimicking their style) If you use Netflix, you've probably wondered about the specific genres that it suggests to you. Some of them just seem so specific that it's absurd. Emotional Fight-the-System Documentaries? Period Pieces About Royalty Based on Real Life? Foreign Satanic Stories from the 1980s? If Netflix can show such tiny slices of cinema to any given user, and they have 40 million users, how vast did their set of "personalized genres" need to be to describe the entire Hollywood universe? This idle wonder turned to rabid fascination when I realized that I could capture each and every microgenre that Netflix's algorithm has ever created. Through a combination of elbow grease and spam-level repetition, we discovered that Netflix possesses not several hundred genres, or even several thousand, but 76,897 unique ways to describe types of movies. There are so many that just loading, copying, and pasting all of them took the little script I wrote more than 20 hours. We've now spent several weeks understanding, analyzing, and reverse-engineering how Netflix's vocabulary and grammar work. -
Raymond Burr Vineyards ~ 8339 W

Their friendship grew and advanced as their mutual interest in the knowledge of the cultivation and hybridization of orchids developed. Their mutual hobby began to grow in importance to them and the next logical step was to make it into a commercial venture. At the same time, Benevides had become Executive in Charge of Production for Mr. Burr’s very successful and long (8 years) running television series, “Ironside”. The two men purchased an island in Fiji where they raised coconuts and cattle and helped bring up the standard of living for the Fijian people who lived on the island. In 1976, Robert Benevides’ father, attracted by the beauty of the Dry Creek Valley and the special qualities of land with its productive soils, purchased portions of the existing Raymond Burr Vineyard Estate. Years later, Robert and Raymond planted vines on their lovely estate in 1986. Their first wines were made in 1990 under the direction of John Pedroncelli, who together with his brother, Jim, owned the Pedroncelli Winery off Canyon Road. The Raymond Burr label started in 1998. A reasonable price was set for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines, and over the years, prices for their Estate wines have remained the same as the original releases. -

His researches seem to them a waste of time and energy. Interest in ancestors, love of family and kindred, those subtle questions of race, origin, even of life itself, which they involve, are quite beyond their com prehension. They live only in the present, care nothing for the past and little for the future; for " he who cares not whence he cometh, cares not whither he goeth." When such persons are approached with questions of ancestry, they retire to their stronghold of apathy; and the querist learns, without diffi culty, that whether their ancestors were vile or illustrious, virtuous or vicious, or whether, indeed, they ever had any, is to them a matter of supreme indifference. -

Die Hard – Synopsis John Mcclane, a Wisecracking New York City Cop
Die Hard – Synopsis John McClane, a wisecracking New York City cop, comes to LA for Christmas. His wife, Holly, has recently taken an executive job there; she took the kids with her, too. McClane begrudges Holly packing up like that, but he loves her and hopes to work things out. Wandering through the company holiday party in the sleek new high-rise, Nakatomi Plaza, McClane feels out of place and things aren’t going that well with Holly either. It gets a lot worse when a band of European terrorists invade the building. Led by the suave and brilliant Hans Gruber, they’re seriously armed and organized. They lock down the building, seize control of the computer system, cut off all outside communication. The terrorists gather the only people left in the building, those attending the party, and keep them docile with their automatic weapons. Gruber is in total control. Except over McClane. Who has slipped into a stairwell unseen. Gruber escorts the head of the company, Mr. Takagi, into an office and demands a computer code that will unlock a vault containing 640 million dollars worth of bonds. Takagi refuses. Gruber blows his head off. Nearby in hiding, McClane watches. He realizes Gruber is fully capable of killing the hostages—including his wife. Armed with only his wits, McClane is the only one with a shot at saving the day. Hans has his tech specialist set about breaking the computer code, a complex routine that requires going through seven computerized locks. McClane tries to alert authorities by tripping a fire alarm, but the ruse fails, only signaling to Hans that there’s a rogue loose in the building. -
