Background and philosophy: Cars in this category are expected to be prepared as they were during their competitive racing period. Since racing technology progressed very rapidly during this period, there may be different specifications that are period correct. The intent is to provide fair and equitable racing amongst this diverse group of cars. 3. Modifications: Since these cars mostly raced in open categories, there will be variations within a particular make and model that are period correct. These cars are expected to have only period equipment and specifications. It is the responsibility of a competitor to provide documentation for any specification that is not generally considered appropriate. All competitors are expected to do research and comply with any appropriate period regulations. 4. Engines: Engine type and displacement must be correctly reported. In cases where an alternate engine is used, the details must be fully disclosed and reported using a Race Car Information Sheet. In most cases an incorrect displacement or type will be permitted so long as an appropriate class exists within the category class structure. 5. Approved tires: Racing slicks. While exact size and aspect ratio are not specified, entrants must ensure that tire choice is appropriate for the car during the eligibility period. ================================================================================================== (HASR) Can-Am and A/Sports Racing (over 2.0L) BRM P167 Chaparral (HWSC) World Sportscar Championship Delta Ti22 (1971 thru 1981) Ferrari 512/ 612/ 712 Alfa Romeo T33/3 & T33TT/3 GRD S72 Alpine A442-Renault Lola T70/T160-165 Chevron B31 Lola T220/222/260/310 Ferrari 312P & BP (3.0L) Ferrari 512S & M (5.0L) March 707 & 717 Ford GT40 March 817, 827, 832, 847, 84C, 85C Lola T280/282/284/286/380 (3.0L) Matich SR-3 March 75S McLaren M6a/ M6b Matra-Simca MS670 McLaren M8b/M8c/M8e/M8f Mirage M6 & GR8 (3.0L) McLaren M12, M20 Porsche 908/03 (3.0L) McKee Porsche 917K, 917/20 (4.5/5.0L) Porsche 908 Porsche 936 (2.2L turbo) Porsche 917PA, 917/10 & 30 UOP Shadow DN4A (HS2) Sports 2000 (per NAC-SRCC Rules) Center-seat CanAm (5.0L limit) Frissbee (HCSR) Sports Racers (under 1600cc) Lola T330, T332, T333CS, T530 March 847 Prophet Schkee (HBSR) Sports Racers (1600-2000cc) Abarth 021 Bobsy SR Chevron B19, 21, 23, 26, 31, 36 Lola T210/212/290-298/390 Mallock U-2 TOJ Center-seat CanAm (2.0L limit) March 77S, 732, 817, 832, 847, 84C, 85C Ralt RT-2 .
