Currently, WFHS is on a traditional calendar and provides educational opportunities for students from Wake Forest, NC and sur- rounding communities in northeastern Wake County. School Counseling • TROUPE, the school’s highest-level acting company, represented Wake County at NCTC Technician Amy Burger state competition four times. • The 2016-17 varsity football team won the 4-AA state championship, the first Wake County school since 1987. • The varsity softball team was state runner-up in 2013. Their conference win streak reached 143 wins in a 12-year period. • The varsity men’s soccer team won the 3-A state title in 1996.
