Svensk Stuteribok För Fullblod Vol 27 SVENSK STUTERIBOK FÖR FULLBLOD (SvSF) BAND 27 Utarbetad av Margareta Östgård Utgiven av SVENSKA GALOPPFÖRBUNDET ISSN 0283-6904 Scandinavian Racing Bureau AB, Djursholm, 2001 Grafisk Idé, Solna och Alunda Bokbinderi AB, 2001 Förord Den 27:e upplagan av Svensk Stuteribok för Fullblod är den första som upprättats i Galopp- förbundets datasystem. En nyhet i denna upplaga är de internationella registreringsnumren som infördes 1998. Alla hästar födda från och med 1998 får sitt registreringsnummer i födelselandet. Det följer sedan hästen livet ut, även vid export. 1997 infördes ett nytt avelsvärderingssystem. Hingstar som är avelsvärderade i det nya systemet anges med de nya värdebokstäverna. Per den 1 januari 2001 har förbundet bytt namn till Svenska Galoppförbundet. Uppläggningen av Svensk Stuteribok följer internationella bestämmelser. I stuteriboken får bara införas engelska fullblod. Så kallade B-registrerade fullblodshästar redovisas därför i en särskild publikation. Den första stuteriboken i Sverige utkom 1872 med titeln ”Nordiska Stuteriboken” på Nordiska Jockeyklubbens Förlag. Redaktör var den kände hippologen Carl Gustaf Wrangel. Christer Boije af Gennäs var redaktör för Svensk Stuteribok band 21 till och med 26. Han är den redaktör som i stuteribokens historia utarbetat flest antal band, totalt 6 stycken, vilket skedde mellan åren 1975 och 1995. Christer Boije af Gennäs har haft vänligheten att bidra med vägledning och goda råd även till detta band. Band 27 omfattar åren 1996-1999. Boken grundar sig på hingsthållarnas insända språngrullor med uppgifter om betäckningar samt följande års rapporter om betäckningsresultat. Registreringarna bygger dessutom på stoägarnas uppgifter om fölning samt språngsedel, signalementsbeskrivning och blodtypning. Har sto betäckts med mer än en hingst sker faderskapsprövning på avkomman. Faderskapet avgörs genom blodprov och anges i stuteriboken vid stoet. Har stoet dött eller exporte- rats anges även detta. Utgivaren påtar sig inget ekonomiskt ansvar för eventuella felaktigheter i detta band. De nya (från 1998) registreringsnumren består av totalt 11 tecken, varav tre får vara bokstäver (oftast landskoden), resten skall vara siffror som till exempel kan innehålla kod för ras. I Sverige börjar numren med SWE varefter det följs av en etta eller tvåa. En etta innebär att hästen är ett engeskt fullblod. En tvåa är ett så kallat övrigt fullblod som registreras och publiceras i B-registret. Därefter följer ett datasatt löpande nummer. Exempel: SWE10001234 betyder att det är ett svensk- fött engelskt fullblod. Stamboksregler För att vara berättigad att införas i Svensk Stuteribok för Fullblod (SvSF) skall häst tillhöra katego- rin ”engelskt fullblod”. Följande kvalifikationer skall därjämte uppfyllas: A. Hästen måste vara resultatet av en parning mellan en hingst och ett sto, som båda före den 1 januari 1980 varit registrerade i Svenska Galoppförbundets fullblodsregister eller i en av den internationella Stuteribokskommittén erkänd stambok, eller som i stamtavlans samtliga linjer och led härstammar på hästar som registrerats sålunda, eller B. Hästen måste i sin stamtavla uppvisa åtta på varandra följande bokförda korsningar med 6 hästar i kategorin som definierats under a) ovan, inklusive den korsning som den själv alstrats genom. C. Även om häst uppfyller kvalifikationerna under a) ovan har inregistrerings- kommissionen rätt att neka att införa den i stuteriboken, om ej hästen i sin stamtavla nöjaktigt kan uppvisa åtta på varandra följande bokförda korsningar (inkl den korsning som den själv alstrats genom) med hästar i kategorin som definierats under a) ovan. Sådant nekande får ej genomdrivas om det ej enhälligt godkänts av den internationella Stuteribokskommittén. Häst får ej ha avlats genom insemination, embryotransfer, äggtransplantation eller annan liknande metod. Häst skall vara införd i Galoppförbundets register för engelska fullblodshästar. Detaljbestämmelser för avelsverksamhet och registrering m m återfinns i Galoppförbundets Reglemente för Galopplöpningar kapitel V och VI. Dessa kapitel är införda i stuteriboken, se sid 8 - 13. Conditions of Entry For a horse to be eligible to be registered in the Swedish Stud-Book the horse must be a thoroughbred and the qualifications as below must be satisfied. A. The horse must be the product of a mating between a sire and dam both of which were registered prior to January 1st 1980 in the Swedish Stud-Book (A-register in Stud-Books before Volume 25), or in a Stud-Book approved by the International Stud-Book Committee, or must trace in all lines of its pedigree to horses so registered, or B. The horse must be able to prove satisfactorily eight recorded crosses consecutively with horses in the category described

FOREWORD Volume III of the Bulgarian Stud Book of Thoroughbred horses contains the information about the pedigrees and a summary of the breeding activity for the period of 2010- 2013 including. The breeding activity data has been obtained on the basis of the documentation of the stud farms in the country. The reliabilty of the origin of the born foals is confirmed through a DNA test from GeneControl GmbH – Germany. The Bulgarian Stud Book has been compiled in accordance with the requirements of the International Stud Book Committee (ISBC). In compliance with the requirements of the ISBC, the information about the horses has been presented in (?) sections. Each section contains specific information and the necessary data about the horses. The Bulgarian Stud Book starts with the rules and regulations for registering Thoroughbred horses in the Republic of Bulgaria. For all horses registered in the present volume, after their name the suffix of the country in which they are born and identified. The registration of the imported stallions and mares is on the basis of export certificates issued by the country from where they have been imported.

    “As One Door Closes, Another One Opens…” There is never a good time to do this, more so as it involves the dispersal of the families that have brought international recognition to Summerhill. When our former stud manager John Slade, was assisting with our mating plans last July, he was charmed by the layered evolution of our broodmares through generations of the leading stallions Northern Guest, Home Guard, Liloy, Rambo Dancer, National Emblem, Fard, Kahal and Muhtafal, all of them “top ten” luminaries, several of them national champions in one category or another. While this is an emotional time for all of us, it’s an opportune one for our colleagues. Our good friend Graham Beck, laid the foundations for his stellar successes at Highlands and Maine Chance through his legendary “raids” on their stock, as well as those of the Noreen, Scott Bros. and Hartford studs. For our own part, the partnerships we’d assembled in 1987 were dispersed on their maturity in 1998, and we were left with just 26 mares on the farm; seven years later, through our re- investment in those families, we’d won the first of ten national premierships. Famously, the dams of Jet Master, Royal Chalice, Angus and Pierre Jourdan, among many others, were acquired right here, as was Varsfontein’s “Blue Hen”, Secret Pact. While Summerhill’s successes owe much to the stallions that’ve decorated our barn over the decades, it’s arguable that we’ve never been better served than in the outstanding young sprinter-milers currently doing duty here, Act Of War, Capetown Noir, Willow Magic and Linngari; they comprise the bulk of the covering sires in the catalogue.
