After that he sought opportunity to betray Him. Church of the Dominion Taking dominion starts with you first in your own life. It means mastery over ones self -first. Temperance - balance – getting your own household in order, self-discipline. Acts 24:25 Galatians 5:24,25 II Peter 1:6 Reining yourself in, not in a convenient season or when you finally feel like it. The season never came for Felix and it will never come for you either, the enemy will see to it. The season was right then when the Lord was speaking to him, he chose not to listen and missed heaven. The Lord doesn’t wait on your convenience. When he says the season is now you need to listen. Galatians 5:22,23 Rein ourself in; crucify your flesh if you’re going to walk in the spirit. Temperance is self-control – getting yourself in line with the spirit. If you can't get dominion over self, you’ll never take it anywhere else. We live in an age that teaches us to be self indulgent, to seek our own pleasure, to do what we want, that is the new age spirit. Self-control is unheard of. The things that bug us in our lives are allowed by the Lord that we might learn by the Name of Jesus that we have authority over them. Revelation 3 and Ephesians 1:22,23 (Over comer – to get the better of, gain superiority, conquer, win). I have entitled this the Church of the Dominion! He that has an ear let him hear. The Lord has been speaking to me about change again. At our last meeting I said every noun, pronoun, verb and adverb was going to change. We are moving into the dispensation of the fullness of time. The dispensations are changing. There is a change in the spirit realm. When it changes from man’s day to God’s day, everything will change. Do we really think that everything is going to go on as usual that nothing will change? That nothing in the realm of God’s spirit is going to change? That as the world gets worse and worse that God’s spirit isn’t going to become mightier and more powerful. Even the names that we know the Lord by are going to change to a deeper, broader, higher, meaning. From our knowing the Lord as Jehovah covenant God, Shalom, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Jireh, these names will never pass away, but because we’re going from the wilderness into our inheritance His Names are changing also. The Church of the Dominion will walk where no other church in all of history has ever walked. The anointing and the covenant is changing, why wouldn’t we begin to hear new and different names. We’ve walked in the light but never the glory. Some will be bearing witnesses with signs and wonders and some will have gifts of the Holy Spirit. Hebrews 2:4 there is a difference between those two things. This has been a time of mans heart being revealed, of church division, of people scattering, apostasy, a time of religion! The word change means to reconcile, reunite, reconnect, return, complete and perfect. Religion will never take you higher. Mark 9:19,22 speaks of relying on compassion, sympathy and tenderness rather than the Lord’s power and authority. Religion nullifies the power of God. The Lord Jesus called these people who walked in this place faithless, not treacherous, but unbelieving. Religion glorifies weakness and lack. The Spirit of the Lord glorifies strength and victory. The Word says without faith you can not please Him. Religion will cause the Word of the Lord to become a reproach to you at first. Reproach means you become disappointed in your belief of the Word, than you reject it then you scoff at it and finally you become unbelieving and begin to twist and pervert it. (All perversion will lead to anti-Christ.) Religion will never take you higher, but there will be a consistent downgrading of all that you once knew or believed. Christ came that we might be overcomers. To overcome our weaknesses, our negativeness, problems, our bondage’s. If we never overcome, there will be no victory. You will never possess your own vessel, let alone go from glory to glory. We are to walk in the steps of faith as Abraham, we are to have hinds feet and as a roe leap from mountaintop to mountaintop! FAITH! The Lord is going to have his overcoming church in the last days. Isaiah 66:9 says: Shall I cause to bring to the birth and not cause to bring forth says the Lord. Shall I cause to bring forth and shut the womb? The Lord didn’t plant seed in His people that it should rot; He is bringing it to perfection! He didn’t take thousands of us in the wilderness to let us die, but bring us into the Promised Land. The first name of the Lord I want to speak to you about is Elohim, for we will know him by this name. Psalm 83-84, Romans 8:18,19 – Elohim, is God the Son, the living Rhema Word with power to create. Elohim is God the creator putting his omnipotence to work; the law of life takes precedence over the law of death. He was Elohim when he sent Manna from heaven, and water out of the Rock, when the fire licked up the water, when the earthquake opened the prison gates, when the sea was divided, Elohim when the iron floated on the water, when Phillip was translated, when the sun stood still. There was a change in the spirit realm. We also shall know Him as Elohim because the Word says greater miracles shall we do than Him. Rahab knew the Lord had given Joshua the land. Hebrew 11:1 says faith is the substance and the evidence, faith is the knowing that it is done. Joshua 2:9 calls it faith conclusion. Sara had it, so did Abraham, Joshua’s enemies could not rise up against him because the fear of the Lord was upon them. Elohim brought deliverance, not Jehovah Covenant God – Elohim is God the omnipotent – is God the creator putting his omnipotence into operation, there’s a change in the spirit realm. The other name is El Elyon. Genesis 15:18 before the Lord made a covenant with Abraham he spoke and said: “I Will” give this land to you for an inheritance and that he would give him a son. He said:, “I Will”. Then He put him to sleep and cut covenant with him, He put him to sleep so that Abraham did not know what was happening so he couldn’t get his hand into it, so that all was the Lord’s doing.

The nation was in almost total darkness, and even the small, faint light that there was was dim and gloomy looking. There were people from within China pressed up against the prison bars surrounding their country. They were very thin, were in rags, their clothes tattered and filthy. They appeared as if they had been physically beaten. They had blindfolds over their eyes.

    Original Research The ‘Jezebel spiriT’: A scholArly inquiry Authors: ABSTRACT Trudie Stark1 Queen Jezebel is rightly recognised as one of the powerful women in the Old Testament. In the Hans J.M. van Deventer1 biblical text she is introduced as a ‘foreign’ queen and wife to Ahab, the 8th century king of the northern kingdom, Israel. This article examines some of the interpretations of this character in Affiliations: the church over the centuries. The focus falls on the latest development in this regard whereby, 1Faculty of Humanities, in some circles, the biblical character is linked to the existence of a ‘Jezebel spirit’ within the North-West University contemporary church. On the basis of a narratological reading of the Jezebel texts it is indicated (Vaal Triangle Campus), that such an interpretation is unfounded and fails to take cognisance of developments in biblical South Africa interpretation related to literary understandings of the text.
