Mike Ross Head Coach The kinks have been worked out. The newness has worn off. And the legacy has started. Now, it’s just about the baseball. Head Coach Mike Ross is now entering his seventh year at the helm of USAO’s baseball program and has been responsible for one of the best seasons in program history. In 2013, Coach Ross’ Drovers earned their first bid to the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round, broke the all-time wins record with 41 and had two players who signed with fran- chises. That season, Ross also earned his first Sooner Athletic Confer- ence Coach of the Year honor. The 2013 season just built on Ross’ previous success. Each year since being named head coach, Ross has logged a winning season. In February 2012, Ross celebrated his 100th win in a victory over No. 1 Oklahoma City at home at Bill Smith Ballpark.
