She has been the information specialist in over 20 published systematic reviews; these include Cochrane reviews, quantitative reviews and mixed methods reviews. Alison has developed an interest in teaching other information professionals about systematic reviews (through the workshop ‘Searching and Beyond’), as well as search methods research in the health and the environment and human health fields. She has over 20 years’ experience as an information professional, ranging from managing small government libraries to working in the tourism sector as a knowledge manager. Andrew Booth is a qualified Information Specialist with almost 25 years’ experience as a systematic review methodologist at the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield in the UK where he is Reader in Evidence-Based Information Practice. He is a Co-Convenor of the Cochrane Qualitative and Implementation Methods Group. He is Co-Director of one of the three National Institute for Health Research Evidence Synthesis Centres for the Health Services and Delivery Research Programme. He is a former Associate Editor for Systematic Reviews and current Associate Editor for Research Synthesis Methods, and he is the lead author of Systematic Approaches to a Successful Literature Review (2nd edn, SAGE Publishing, 2016). Andrew has co-authored over 120 systematic review outputs including, as lead author, the Department of Health review on Minimum Alcohol Pricing, which continues to influence UK policy.

Sartwell. During the initial period, primarily headed by Nathanson, the journal established its credibility by soliciting pieces from well-respected epidemiologists and researchers that had also or were in the process of contributing to the American Journal of Epidemiology. The topics broke down equally under "three general topics: infectious diseases, other conditions, and general topics related to both," according to Sartwell in his introduction of the journal in its first volume. In 1985, Moyses Szklo took over as editor-in-chief. After Szklo, the journal was led by Haroutune K. Armenian, the longest serving editor-in-chief to date. Armenian regularly obtained advice from Leon Gordis and Jon Samet. In 1999, the journal separated from being a single 200+ page annual issue into two 100-page bi-annual issues, with the first one focusing on themes popular to public health and the second one focused on methodology. The following year, the journal switched publishers from the Johns Hopkins University Press to the Oxford University Press. Though Armenian began working with Michel A. Ibrahim as co-editor-in-chief starting in 2003, Ibrahim's leadership did not fully commence until 2005 after Armenian had officially retired from his position. Scope and Coverage Epidemiologic Reviews is an annual peer-reviewed scientific journal covering epidemiology and published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Art Design Institute Abstract Objectives: To compare the number and quality of public, environmental and occupational health articles published in international journals from the 3 major non-English speaking countries of East Asia: China, Japan and Korea. Material and Methods: Public, environmental and occupational health articles from China, Japan and Korea that were published in 161 journals from 2003 to 2012 were retrieved from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) database. We recorded the numbers of total articles, impact factors (IF), citations, number of articles in top 10 journals, references as well as the ar- ticle distribution from various regions in China. Results: From 2003 to 2012, China, Japan and Korea published 5713, 3802 and 1967 papers respectively, with accumulated impact factor of 14 934.55, 8758.36 and 6189.25, the average impact factor of 2.61, 2.30 and 3.15 and the average citation numbers per document of 5.08, 6.49 and 5.25. In the top 10 high-impact pub- lic, environmental and occupational health journals, China, Japan and Korea accounted for 50.19%, 20.34% and 29.47% of all the papers published in those journals, respectively.
