The secretariat has received a request for clarification from Peru concerning the applicability of the Model Regulations to the transport of dangerous goods in road tank- vehicles. 2. In the context of the Model Regulations road tank-vehicles fall within the definition of “tank” and are specifically excluded from the definition of “portable tank”. 3. However, the provisions and requirements relating to the use, design, construction, inspection and testing of tanks (Chapters 4.2 and 6.7), as well as the instructions and special provisions listed in columns 10 and 11 of the Dangerous Goods List, only refer to “portable tanks”. 4. Student, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, GITAM University, Hyderabad, Telangana State, India 2 ABSTRACT: Drones have long been described as optimally suited to perform the “3-D” missions, often described as dirty, dull, and dangerous. They can provide needed aerial data in areas considered too hazardous for people on the ground or for manned aircraft operation, such as sites with nuclear radiation contamination or in close proximity to wildfires. Drones can also deliver needed supplies and relay Wi-Fi and cellular phone service when communications are needed the most.This paper will discuss how drones and the aerial data they collect can be used before, during, and after a disaster. It includes an overview of potential solutions and deployment models, as well as, recommendations on removing regulatory barriers to their use. This research propounds why the proposed model: DRMAT is the simple and clear answer to many technological, environmental and public issues, as this is easily modifiable and made compatible to new software and hardware changes. This paper describes how we could stay up to date with latest technology while saving costs, decreasing investments and fighting the need for completely changing the base structure of drop ship rovers. -

South Asian Studies A Research Journal of South Asian Studies Vol. 28, No. 1, January – June 2013, pp. 25-37 The Mumbai Terror ‘2008’ and its Impact on the Indo- Pak Relations Umbreen Javaid University of Punjab, Lahore Marium Kamal University of the Punjab, Lahore ABSTRACT Mumbai is an easily accessible Indian city through the Arabian Sea from Pakistan. The city is also considered as the hub of large number of executives and foreign tourists. The daybreak of 27th November 2008 observed a chaotic condition in south Mumbai due to the deadly serialized attacks which claimed many lives and hundreds of injuries. The night witnessed an assault on the top community and foreigners. The lethal attack hindered the peace process between India and Pakistan and damaged all efforts that were being made in order to achieve harmonized relations between both states. The Indian authorities raised voice against the terror intentions of Pakistan and symbolized her as the epicenter of terrorism. India blamed Lashkar-e-Tayba for targeting the Indian nationals. The violent approach created trust deficit between the two states which considered as the most serious ongoing problem that confronts Indo-Pak relations.
