CHANDRAKASI: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the National Sports Development Code of India (NSDCI) is not being followed by all the sports bodies in the country and if so, the details thereof; (b) the details of sports bodies found to be following and those not following the provisions of NSDCI in the country; (c) the details of action taken against specific cases of violation of NSDCI, during the last five years and the current year; and (d) the steps being taken to ensure compliance of NSDCI by all the sports bodies in the country? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) FOR YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS [COL. No. 14015/1/76-Estt (D) dated 4th August, 1980 of the Ministry of Home Affairs and also issued instructions from time to time. Accordingly, the policy/ guidelines are formulated to provide job reservation to the Meritorious Sportspersons in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep Administration. 2.
