Sam Jay Gold .Theater Artist | Filmmaker | Puppeteer

Artist Statement I am a director, performer, writer, and creator of new works for stage and screen. I have trained in a variety of international performance techniques and value inventive approaches to storytelling. This includes my time spent as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow, a year in which I traveled the world studying traditions of puppetry. I believe these under-exposed forms provide opportunities to bring the new and the unexpected to a wider audience. Below you will find information about my notable work on camera. Video links are embedded in each title.
