Cases reported from Village Rama Krishna Sarada Mission School, Khonsa. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house Arunachal Under survey done. Students presented with fever and AR/TRP/36/1226 Tirap Mumps 34 00 30-08-18 03-09-18 parotid swelling. All the cases were in the age Pradesh Control group of 7-13. Patients under treatment and IEC activities done. All the affected were isolated. All cases treated symptomatically. Health education given. Cases reported from Village Ramdiri, HSC- Sohel Chak (Nauwagadhi Dakshni). Block/ PHC- Sadar Munger. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. Water sample collected and sent for test at Acute PHED Munger. Rapid Response Team Visited Under BH/MNG/36/1227 Bihar Munger Diarrheal 85 00 06-09-18 10-09-18 the affected area. Active surveillance done. Control Disease Severely affected people attended at Sadar Hospital Munger. IEC was done regarding sanitation. Bleaching powder and Gamexine was sprinkled by health workers in the affected area. Halogen Tablets were applied in the water tanks meant for drinking purposes. Cases reported from Village Munagwado Assagao Under PHC Siolim. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. 1 Water sample sent for testing to Viral Hepatitis Under DPHL and found positive for coliform. I blood GA/PNJ/36/1228 Goa North Goa 13 00 30-08-18 04-09-18 A Control sample tested positive for Hepatitis A by IgM ELISA. House to house survey done. Well disinfection was done. IEC conducted. District RRT and Block RRT visited the affected area and active case search was done in the affected area to find out new cases & tick density. Tick control activities undertaken. Cases reported from Village Milpeed, Lonjo Panchayat, CHC Sonua. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. Four stool samples sent to Acute DPHL, Chaibasa, Result awaited. Six patients Under JH/WSI/36/1230 Jharkhand West Singhbhum Diarrheal 21 00 05-09-18 06-09-18 were admitted in CHC-Sonua for treatment. Surveillance Disease RRT & Block team visited the affected locality. All cases were treated symptomatically. IEC activity undertaken and health education given regarding hygienic practices and sanitary measures. Cases reported from Village Bilachodu, Taluk Jagalur. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. 8 water samples sent to DSU lab and 5 found unfit; 3 stool samples sent to DPHL Davangere, and all found positive for E Coli. Health camp organized in the school and all cases treated symptomatically. Cases reported from Village Idukki, PHC Vazhathope, Block Muttom. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house Under survey done. 3 water samples taken, result KL/IDK/36/1232 Kerala Idukki Food Poisoning 52 00 07-09-18 07-09-18 Control awaited. District Team visited the affected area. Health Education given. Health camp organized in the school and all cases treated symptomatically. 4 | P a g e Cases reported from Village/SC/PHC Kingaon, Block Yawal. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. 10 water samples send to DPHL for bacteriological examination and 09 found contaminated. 2 TCL sample send to DPHL for chlorine percentage examination and 14% chlorine found. Valve damages were found in Under drinking water supply system. 6 Stool Sample MH/JGA/36/1233 Maharashtra Jalgaon Cholera 32 02 09-09-18 10-09-18 Surveillance send to GMC Aurangabad and 2 found positive for V Cholera. Health Camp was setup in PHC. IEC done in affected area to create awareness about Safe drinking water. Leakages in water supply line were repaired. Gram Panchayat was instructed to ensure regular chlorination of drinking water. Health camp organized in the school and all cases treated symptomatically. A 35 year and a 50 year old male died of illness. Cases reported from a school in Village Atla Kalan, SC Atla Kalan, CHC / Block Khialan kalan. District RRT investigated the outbreak. Cases presented with discomfort in the salivary Under glands, difficulty in chewing, fever, headache PB/MNS/36/1234 Punjab Mansa Mumps 13 00 03-09-18 07-09-18 Control and tiredness. House to house survey done. 05 blood samples collected result awaited. RRT visited the affected area. Health education to student. All cases treated symptomatically. Vaccination status, age group. Cases reported from Village 14 Beegha, Dhalwala, Rishikesh. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. All Under samples tested at Sentinel Surveillance UA/TGL/36/1235 Uttarakhand Tehri Dengue 21 01 04-09-18 10-09-18 Hospital Doon Medical College Dehradun. Out Control of 22 samples, 21 found positive by IgM ELISA. All cases treated symptomatically. Source reduction activities undertaken. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. 129 blood samples collected and sent to COM & Under JNM for dengue Elisa test, 26 NS1 and 4 IGM WB/NDA/36/1236 West Bengal Nadia Dengue 286 00 07-09-18 08-09-18 positive. Fever survey, active case search, Surveillance larval source reduction done by VRPs, ASHA and AWWs. Spraying of Larvicide, Fogging and IEC done. Medical camps were organized in the affected areas. Mosquito breeding was found to be rampant. Daily entomological survey was done in the affected area until vector indices returned to normal. Cases reported from Village Agarwara, Maligram, Keleyara, Laxmipari East, GP Maligram, Paschim Chak & Jalchak of Block Pingla. District & State RRT investigated the Paschim Under outbreak. House to house fever survey done. WB/MDW/36/1237 West Bengal Dengue 1430 00 06-08-18 06-08-18 Entomological survey done. IEC activities Medinipur Surveillance undertaken. All the patients were treated. 583 blood samples collected and sent to MMCH Microbiology dept for dengue ELISA test. 175 Dengue Positive. All the patients Dengue 1430 00 06-08-18 Surveillance were treated. 583 blood samples collected and sent to week no 33 Medinipur MMCH Microbiology dept for dengue ELISA test.
