The Rural Municipality of Roblin is located in south central and was incorporated as an RM in 1902. The Village of Cartwright, Roblin’s largest centre, and the community of Mather, are significant in the municipality. Rock a n i t o b a Lake, a resort area featuring swimming, boating, camping, fishing, and hunting, is also found in the RM of Roblin. The rural municipality is located along Provincial Trunk Highways 5 and 3. , M The RM of Roblin has a very rich heritage of which its communities are proud. The strong pioneer spirit in Roblin allowed the municipality and the Village of Cartwright to grow quickly and attract new settlers within its borders. That same pioneer spirit is found throughout the municipality today, with residents working hard to get on-line with today’s new technologies.

The RM of Roblin has two school divisions, as well as a variety of services and resources for community members. With its beautiful location in Manitoba’s Central Plains Region, Roblin is home to some of the best fishing and camping areas in . There is also a buffalo jump and a number of historical sites.
