(MARRC) is a non-profit corporation established in 1997 by manufacturers and marketers of lubricating products in Manitoba. Its mandate is to develop, implement and administer a cost-effective, sustainable, user-financed, province-wide stewardship program for used oil, used oil filters and used oil containers. MARRC was incorporated under The Corporations Act of Manitoba on April 1, 1997. It operates in accordance with a Letter of Approval issued by Manitoba Environment on February 26, 1998 under Section 7 of the “Used Oil, Oil Filters and Containers Stewardship Regulation” of the Waste Reduction and Prevention Act.
