Route 8X and 19 Bus-Bus Interchange Scheme This BBI is jointly provided with New World First Bus (NWFB), involving Citybus routes 8X, 19 & 10 and NWFB routes 2, 2A & 23. Passengers can use this BBI scheme to travel between Siu Sai Wan / Chai Wan and Wan Chai / Admiralty / Mid-levels / Western District; between Aldrich Bay / Shau Kei Wan / Yiu Tung and Happy Valley; and from Queen's Road East to Happy Valley. Winter Season (December - March) is the most relaxing and comfortable time to go to Hong Kong but besides the weather, there's little else to do since the "Sale Season" occurs during Summer. There are some sales during Christmas & Chinese New Year but 90% of the clothes are for winter. Hong Kong can get very foggy during winter, as such, visit to the Peak is a hit-or-miss affair. A foggy bird's eye view of HK isn't really nice. Summer Season (May - October) is similar to Manila's weather, very hot but moving around in Hong Kong can get extra uncomfortable because of the high humidity which gives the "sticky" feeling. Hong Kong's rainy season also falls on their summer, July & August has the highest rainfall count and the typhoons also arrive in these months. The Sale / Shopping Festival is from the start of July to the start of September. If the sky is clear, the view from the Peak is great. Avoid going to Hong Kong when there are large-scale exhibitions or ongoing tournaments like the Hong Kong Sevens Rugby Tournament because hotel prices will be significantly higher. Limited (“CIFI”, stock code: 884.HK) and Wang On Properties Limited (“Wang On Properties”, stock code: 1243.HK) are pleased to jointly announce that following the joint-development of affordable luxury residential project of “maya” in Yau Tong, CIFI and Wang On Properties have joined hands again and successfully acquired the entire equity interest of two sites on King’s Road in Fortress Hill for a total sum of HK$1.88 billion, in which CIFI and Wang On Properties own 60% and 40% equity interest of the sites respectively. Introduction Underground rapid transit system has become an essential element of urban citizens’ daily lives since the world’s first underground mass transportation system started operations in London in 1863. After 153 years of expansion, there are more than 150 subway systems in the world in the year of 2016, servicing commuters in New York, Beijing, Tokyo, Barcelona, Seoul and other major cities in the world (UITP statistics, 2015). Its high efficiency, large capacity and many other unique benefits enable subway system to become one of the most popular transportation modes in urban areas where residents spend an average of 1-2 hours (12.5%-25%) of a working day underground commuting to and from work (UITP statistics, 2015). Among the world’s busiest subway networks, Hong Kong’s Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system runs 20 hours and 8,000 train trips per day, with an average daily ridership of 4.69 million (Hong Kong Government stats, 2016). Since its first operation in 1979, MTR is by far the most popular transportation mode in Hong Kong, accounting for 41% of the total 12 million public transport passenger journeys made daily (Hong Kong Government stats, 2016).
