Do you see it, the glowing pillars of fire reflecng in every pair of eyes? Do you feel it, God moving in this place, calling us to worship? The spirit has come! The church is born! Let us worship God with thanksgiving! *HYMN #366 Love Divine, All Loves Excelling vs 1, 2, 3 1. Love divine, all loves excelling, Joy of heaven, to earth come down, Fix in us thy humble dwelling; all thy faithful mercies crown. Jesus, thou art all compassion; pure, unbounded love thou art; Visit us with thy salvaon; enter every trembling heart. 2. Breathe, O breathe thy loving Spirit, into every troubled breast; Let us all in thee inherit; let us find the promised rest. Take away the love of sinning, Alpha and Omega be; End of faith, as its beginning, set our hearts at liberty. 3. Come, Almighty, to deliver; let us all thy life receive; Suddenly return, and never, nevermore thy temples leave. Thee we would be always blessing, serve thee as thy hosts above, Pray, and praise thee without ceasing, glory in thy perfect love. *CALL TO CONFESSION *PRAYER OF CONFESSION Spirit of the Living God, we rejoice in the gis you have given us. Yet, we confess, we do not always use them to glorify you. Forgive us for thinking too lile of ourselves, not trusng that you have given us gis for your service….. *SILENT CONFESSION In our silence and with our words, we ask, Spirit of the Living God, melt us, mold us, fill us again with your power and use us for your work so that our lives may glorify you. Amen. *ASSURANCE OF GOD’S FORGIVENESS The same Spirit who filled the first followers, giving them new words to speak of God’s mighty deeds, rests upon us now, offering us renewed hope, renewed faith, renewed lives. Friends, believe the gospel, In Jesus Christ we are forgiven! Thanks be to God! *SUNG RESPONSE #288 Spirit of the Living God Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on me. Li up your hearts. We li them to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise. It is truly right and our greatest joy to give you thanks and praise, O Lord our God, creator and ruler of the universe…Therefore we praise you, joining our voices with the celesal choirs and with all the faithful of every me and place, who forever sing to the glory of your name; Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. You are holy, O God of majesty, and blessed is Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord…Remembering your gracious acts in Jesus Christ, we take from your creaon this bread and this wine as we await the day of his coming. With thanksgiving we offer our very selves to you to be a living and holy sacrifice, dedicated to your service. According to his commandments: We remember his death, we proclaim his resurrecon, we await his coming in glory. Gracious God, pour out your Holy Spirit upon us and upon these your gis of bread and wine, that the bread we break and the cup we bless may be the communion of the body and blood of Christ. By your spirit make us one with Christ, that we may be one with all who share this feast, united in ministry in every place. As this bread is Christ’s body for us, send us out to be the body of Christ in the world. Strengthen us, O God, in the power of your Spirit to bring good news to the poor and li blind eyes to sight, to loose the chains that bind and claim your blessing for all people. Keep us faithful in your service unl Christ comes in final victory, and we shall feast with all your saints in the joy of your eternal realm. Through Christ, with Christ, in Christ, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor are yours, almighty God, now and forever. Amen. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us, and lead us not into temptaon but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. In the same way remove the second layer to partake of the juice. COMMUNION HYMN #517 Here, O Our Lord, We See You vs 1, 2, 3 1. Here, O our Lord, we see you face to face. Here would we touch and handle things unseen, Here grasp with firmer hand eternal grace, and all our weariness upon you lean. 2. Here would we feed upon the bread of God, Here drink with you the royal cup of heaven; Here would we lay aside each earthly load, And taste afresh the calm of sin forgiven. 3. This is the hour of banquet and of song; This is the heavenly table for us spread. Here let us feast and, feasng, sll prolong The fellowship of living wine and bread. We will walk with each other; we will walk hand in hand; We will walk with each other; we will walk hand in hand, And together we’ll spread the news that God is in our land: And they’ll know we are Chrisans by our love, by our love; Yes, they’ll know we are Chrisans by our love. *CHARGE AND BENEDICTION BENEDICTION RESPONSE A Church Musician’s Grace, Chancel Choir, Virtua Choir by A.
