Grounds For Divorce $28. Created by Chris Hysted, 2009 Australian bartender of the year and of Melbourne’s Black Pearl. This fabulous concoction is named after a song by Elbow and took out the award for best whisky cocktail during the 2009 World Class competition.

A rich and sweet combination of Talisker whisky, walnut liqueur and crème de cacao served with top of Porter beer. Presented in its own labeled beer bottle, this is one for the lads who love a cocktail... but may not want to admit it.

Hendricks Red Snapper $20. Created by our Asia Pacific ambassador for Hendricks gin, Jamie Terrell. This cheeky fellow has influenced and worked in a few of London’s most infamous bars including Atlantic and L.A.B. He currently resides in Sydney.

Hendricks gin is thrown about with Jamie’s own spicy mix, tomatao juice and fresh lemon. Garnished with cherry tomatoes, cucmber and olives. This drink is the ultimate fix.

{ The Eau-De-Vie Tantalus {

At the very front of the Eau-De-Vie bar stands a vintage display of crystal decanters, known as the tantalus. It draws its name from the wicked king and son of Zeus, who in Greek mythology stole ambrosia and nectar from Zeus’ table to bring to humans and reveal the secrets of the Gods.

Historically a tantalus is a showpiece where the bottle stoppers are firmly locked by a metal bar to prevent servants from stealing the master’s prized . And so in this tradition, only Eau-De-Vie’s owner or manager can access the beautiful spirits we store here. 20
