In 2004 the Southern Foodways Alliance published a collection of oral histories featuring the Birmingham, Alabama, Greek restaurant owners that have been feeding the city since the nine- teenth century. This year, the SFA revisited that project to collect oral histories, photographs, and film of the newest generation of Greek Birminghamians.
