Dear Fellow Lay Dominican, As we receive no subsidy from the friars, we depend on your $33 provincial dues payments and Fund Drive contributions to cover our expenses. We maintain a modest operating budget, rely entirely on the volunteer labor of our members, and continue to do our best to keep expenses in line with our income. In about three years, we will be hosting the Lay Dominican Interprovincial Council meeting and are saving to cover the expenses. While each province pays for their own travel and room and board costs, the hosting province pays the administrative costs of the meeting including the cost of providing for a secretary, as necessary. The responsibility for hosting the meeting rotates among the provinces. Would you please demonstrate a Dominican spirit of community and consider making an individual or chapter donation to assist us in maintaining a quality level of service to you? We pledge we will be responsible stewards of the same. Please send your check made payable to LAY DOMINICANS to:

Lay Dominican Office P. O. Box 85451 Racine, WI 53408-5451

Thank you in advance. Donor names will be featured in the next issue of Challenge, if you should so choose. The following have generously supported the Fund Drive by contributing more than annual provincial dues: Dorothy Elliot, Sharon Kramer, Patsy Lucy, Queen of Chapter, Candace Randolph, Geraldine Rasmusson, and Bill Watson. We are the grateful beneficiaries.

Yours in Dominic and Catherine,

Mary Lee Odders, OP, Provincial Treasurer
