An Evening with Taxi's Michael Laskow
PRESENTS AN EVENING WITH TAXI’S MICHAEL LASKOW American Idol judge and Hit Songwriter Kara DioGuardi (L), during her interview with Michael Laskow (R), at TAXI’s free, members-only convention, the Road Rally. A Message From Diane Waters I met Michael Laskow in 1992 just before he founded Taxi and he’s as enthusiastic about discovering and promoting songwriters today as he was back then. When we spoke recently he was relating the whirlwind of activity he’s involved in to get ready for this year’s Taxi “Road Rally.” Each year he ups the ante and this time out he’s secured multi Grammy award winning songwriter Diane Warren as the keynote interview. Even with all of this, Michael is happily making time for the San Diego Songwriter’s Guild this month! He’ll spend the evening with us, share some of his vast knowledge and even listen to some members songs via Skype. What a great opportunity for us! The event will take place at 7PM on Monday, September 24th at the Country Inn & Suites (5975 Lusk Boulevard San Diego 92121). Members wishing to submit a song (limited spots available) will need to register in advance and submit a song online. But hurry! Registration deadline is 3PM on Thursday, September 20th . To submit online visit: www.sdsongwriters.org/laskow2012.php About Michael Laskow Michael Laskow has become one of the most well-connected people in the music business today. As President and CEO of TAXI, he is in daily contact with Directors and Vice Presidents of A&R at virtually all major record labels, many prominent independent labels, publishers, and music supervisors working on film and TV projects. -

Juries have many alternatives to choose from when they don’t get the facts. When faced with a problem, the human imagination is a tool of almost limitless power. However, when a case comes to court, the less left to the imagination, the better. At S-E-A, we’ve been investigating and revealing the cause of accidents and failures since 1970. S-E-A has the capabilities and physical resources to recreate accidents, fires and many other occurrences under simulated conditions to arrive at replicable and accurate answers that will stand up to serious scrutiny, as well as any “courtroom creativity.” S-E-A’s investigative and scientific expertise has been an incredibly powerful tool in the field, the lab and in court for more than 40 years.
