The United States is home to a growing population of asylum seekers and refugees. They often present with complex PTSD and have specialized mental health needs and challenges. This multi- disciplinary symposium, with a focus on LGBT refugees and asylum seekers, presents state of the art clinical guidelines and empirical research on the mental health needs of this vulnerable and underserved population.
