COMMUNICATION TOOLS OFFICIAL PRESENTATION The official presentation of the season will be organized in a heritage building in Torino in March 2011. The event, with a chosen participants’ list of 200 persons, will see the participation from specialized press and the main trend-setting magazines from Torino. The event will be structured with a presentation of the boat, of the crew and the sponsors, followed by a cocktail party.

COMPANY INCENTIVES On occasion of the most scenographic regattas the sponsor will be able to invite some of his clients/managers to attend them. Every day a boat will be arranged to directly follow the regatta and a yachtsman will be on board to explain minute by minute what’s happening.

FRA MARTINA SAILING TEAM Fra Martina Sailing Team was founded in 1997 from the passion for the sea of Vanni and Edoardo Pavesio, two Turinese brothers aged respectively 45 and 47 years. After several years of experience in regattas on the most beautiful and important boats in the Mediterranean Sea, they decided to become ship- owners and take in first person all the burdens and the honors. They decided to concentrate on monotypes for regattas: thanks to their spectacularity, they guarantee strong emotions both to those who pilot them and to the spectators. In order to achieve the best results the team members are chosen among the best Italian yachtsmen, also in order to guarantee the maximum visibility to the sponsors and an adequate return of investment. The Fra Martina colours have been worn by: Vasco Vascotto (tactician for Damiani Italia Challenge at Louis Vuitton Pacific Series in Auckland 2009 and for Mascalzone Latino at the 2007 America’s Cup), Flavio Favini (skipper and helmsman for Mascalzone Latino) Lorenzo Bressani (several times World champion in different classes), Hugo Rocha (Bronze medal on 470 in Atlanta 1996), Gabriele Benussi For 2011 Season the Fra Martina Sailing Team, (the name derives from the first owned regatta boat), will take part to the Melges 32, “owner driver” class, where the ship-owner also helm the boat. Following the success in USA, it is fast developing in Italy and . It’s commonly defined as the monotype class of the future. Born in Turin on May 16th, 1966, he starts to familiarize with water from the very beginning in Alassio where, thanks to his VANNI PAVESIO father’s passion for the sea, he starts sailing first on the typical inflatable boat and then on bigger and bigger boats during the classical summer cruises. At 25 he develops his passion for regattas, which brings him to enroll “wherever there’s a space” up to becoming a member of the crew of Loro Piana’s My Song maxy. After two years at high level he decides with his brother Edoardo to pass on the other side of the barricade, becoming ship-owner with a Platu 25 (Fra Martina) that soon becomes the reference point for the class thanks to its constant successes. In the palmares he counts an European Championship and a second placement, an Italian Championship, a second and a fourth placement at the World Championships. In 2007 the new challenge of the Meleges 24 starts. Since professional yachting is still a hobby, Vanni, after classical and law studies becomes an entrepreneur, on one side in the industrial plants for field of metal sheets processing, on the other as producer and sommeiller of wine, obtained from the family’s vineyards. Born in Turin on April 9th, 1968, he starts to familiarize with water from the very beginning in Alassio where, because or thanks to his father’s passion for EDOARDO PAVESIO the sea, he starts sailing first on the typical inflatable boat and then on bigger and bigger boats during the classical summer cruises. At 18 he develops his passion for regattas, which brings him to embark “wherever there’s a place”, coming to know Guido Maisto (whom he defines his master), who brings him to gaining experience in long-range during the transfers of Broksfield and Wor60 Merit Cup from England to the Mediterranean Sea. He then becomes member of the crew of Loro Piana’s My Song maxy. After some years at high level he decides with his brother Vanni to pass on the other side of the barricade, becoming ship-owner with a Platu 25 (Fra Martina) that soon becomes the reference point for the class thanks to its constant successes.
