čuveni graditelj i cenzor Apije Klaudije Kras, kasnije prozvan Slijepi (Caecus), a posljednji (jedanaesti), Aqua Alexandriana, dao je sagraditi car UVOD Aleksandar Sever 226. godine n. e. (Ilakovac, 1982.). U razvoju naselja i gradova fenomen vode javlja se u svim epohama i područjima života. Imao je kultno i sakralno značenje u oblikovanju urbane ekspresije. Gotovo su sve ljudske kulture uočavale značenje vode nastojeći da taj dar prirode unesu u prostore svog življenja, u urbane, arhitektonske i skulpturalne zamisli javnih prostora, trgova, parkova, palača, dvoraca, vrtova, bazena, fontana-vodoskoka, terma i akvedukata. Vodene površine pružaju vizualne doživljaje i oplemenjuju prostore (Miščević, 2009.). Our goal with this 2 day Rome itinerary is quite simple: show you the best of the city—all of those highlights that are world-renowned and utterly unmissable during your first trip to Rome— and also help you fall in love with the city so much that you leave already planning to come back. Planning a short trip to Rome, particularly as a first-timer to the city? After ducking into a bar aka coffeeshop for a traditional Italian breakfast of a cappuccino and a pastry, head directly to the Colosseum to soak in some incredible history! On a short trip to Rome, we would definitely recommend purchasing a tour in order to skip the line: on a longer trip, you may prefer to pocket the cash instead, but with only 2 days in Rome, time is of the essence! Shop inexpensive skip-the-line tickets to the Colosseum here! Right next door to the Colosseum sits the impressive Roman Forum. We were blown away by how big the forum was on our first trip—when strolling through the remains of the buildings and avenues, it is fun and surprisingly easy to imagine what it must have looked like in all of its glory during the height of the Roman Empire.

  • Angeli Su Roma Quanti Angeli Volano Su Roma? E Dove? Andiamo a Scoprirli
ANGELI SU ROMA QUANTI ANGELI VOLANO SU ROMA? E DOVE? Hermes o Mercurio è indicato come anghelos.

Each year, the Eternal City’s numinous qualities draw millions of devout Christians to undertake a pilgrimage there just as they have for nearly two millennia. Visiting the most venerable sites, culminating with St. Peter’s, the Mother Church of Catholicism, the processional journey often reinvigorates faith among believers. It is a cleansing experience for them, a reflective pause in their daily lives and yearly routines. Millions more arrive in Rome with more secular agendas. With equal zeal they set out on touristic, educational, gastronomic, and retail pilgrimages. Indeed, when in Rome, I dedicate at least a full and fervent day to “La Sacra Giornata di Acquistare le Scarpe,” the holy day of shoe shopping, when I visit each of my favorite stores like so many shrines along a sacred way. Although shoes are crucial to our narrative and to the completion of any pilgrimage conducted on Opposite: The Trevi Fountain, 2007.
