Australian Vegans JOURNAL No.1 Ethical Leadership Healthy Living Sustainable Future Plant-based nutrition with Dr Churchill | Energising recipes | Veganic gardening The AVJ TEAM Welcome to the launch volume of Australian Vegans [email protected] Journal. I hope you enjoy it! www.AustralianVegans.com.au F facebook.com/AustralianVegans T twitter.com/ausvegans Although the global trend is towards magazines and media going online, I wanted to produce something that could be seen in public – a magazine that could be left in a doctor’s office, a gym, I instagram.com/AustralianVegans cafe or other visible place. I also wanted to create something that could be physically sent to all Editor leaders in Australia, across all sectors, because the future of food is vegan and the vegan lifestyle Kathy Divine is the most effective and compassionate lifestyle for a sustainable planet. Now more than ever people are open to receiving this message, so I felt the time was ripe for publishing Australian [email protected] Vegans Journal. This is the vision that has brought this launch issue into being and, I hope, many Layout + Design more to come. For those who want the paperless version we have also produced this option. Shuang West, Farrah Careem After conducting an online survey (a huge thanks to all who participated!) I found that 70% of Illustrators people who responded wanted a hard copy vegan magazine. So here it is! Jo Frederiks, Jade Paton We are starting off by producing two volumes a year and will see where it goes from there.
