Aloe Sunless Tanning Lotion Description and Purpose

Forever’s rich, aloe vera-based Sunless Tanning Lotion lets you ‘tan’ safely year-round without the damaging effects of the sun’s UV rays. The more often you apply it, the deeper your tan becomes. Once you’ve attained your desired tan level, less frequent applications are necessary.

Application Tips

For an even, streak-free tan begin by exfoliating and then drying your skin. Moisturise using any of our fabulous moisturisers and wait for 15 minutes for the lotion to be absorbed so that it doesn’t interfere with the DHA (the active ingredient in all tanning products).

Use your hands or a large sponge to apply the lotion all over the body. Allow 20 minutes to dry - after which you can go to bed, or get dressed for the day (your clothes won’t affect the tanning process). 7

The lotion will not protect you from UVA or UVB ray damage. Aloe Sunscreen (SPF30) will protect you from the damaging rays. Although the skin looks a lovely bronze colour, it has not been prepared for the sun in any way.

Your natural tan will fade slowly, and you can re-apply the Sunless Tanning Lotion to maintain a deeper tan every couple of days.

Stabilised aloe vera gel, water, dihydroxyacetone, glycerin, methyl gluceth-20, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, hybrid sunflower oil, cyclomethicone, ethoxydiglycol, dimethicone copolyol, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, PEG-75 stearate, ceteth-20, steareth-20, polysorbate-60, xanthan gum, methylparaben, diazolidinyl urea, propylparaben, disodium EDTA, fragrance.

Directions

For best results, bathe or shower before applying. Apply in a thin, even coat. Use lightly on knees, elbows and ankles. Re-apply every 4 to 5 hours until desired tan is achieved. Wash hands immediately and thoroughly after using. Avoid contact with clothing and furniture until skin is completely dry. Reapply every day or two (or as needed) to maintain your tan.
