O:dering by proper part number and name will help assure the receipt of the pro~er part the f~rst time without time consuming exchanges of correspondence or other annoy~ng delays. An index is provided in the front of the manual to help you determine which ~llus~ration contains the part you wish to order. Determine the basic system or assembly ~n wh~ch the part is used, and find this system or assembly in the index. It will reference the page(s) which illustrate and list the part. This manual contains the latest information available at the time of printing. However, at the discretion of the Construction Equipment Division, its contents are subject to change without notice. This reservation is in keeping with the division's policy of constant progressive improvement and refinement of all our products. As a result of such policy, certain changes may be made from time to time which will not be covered in this manual. Because we are constantly upgrading our equipment, it is necessary that the SERIAL NUMBER of your machine accompany every repair parts order. To assure the receipt of the proper part, it is essential that the following information be included with your parts order. Certain abbreviations are used in the parts list to call your attention to specific situations. These abbreviations are explained as follows: A.R. -As Required: No specific quantity can be assigned to the part since the number used varies from machine to machine. N.S.S. -Not Serviced Separately: This part is not serviced by itself but, for reasons of matching fit with another part or for other reasons, it is serviced only as part of another assembly. N.I. -Not Illustrated: The part is used on the machine, but is not shown on the parts illustration. Additional structural elements (counterweights) are used to stabilize the forces at the supports that fix the shaft during measurements. This article describes the use of temporary counterweights during measurements and presents the specifications of the measurement system and method. The effect of the proposed solution on the elastic deflection of a shaft was simulated with FEA, which showed that the solution provides constant reaction forces and ensures nearly zero deflection at the supported main journals of a shaft during its rotation (during its geometry measurement). The article also presents an example of a design solution for a single counterweight. If you are using the filters at the top of the Select Aircraft screen the Aircraft manufacturer is North American, the Publisher is Ant's Airplanes and the Aircraft Type is Single Engine Prop. - This package includes 3 model variants. The DUAL contains controls for both cockpits, the SOLO for the front cockpit only (which means it has the best framerates) and the ATTACK which is the SOLO variant but with weapons. - Calibrate Throttle, Mixture and Propeller controls. The T-28 uses some clever custom programming to process throttle quadrant input. For most users this should work straight out of the box but if not, open the Animation Manager (shift+4) and select the Controls tab and follow the instructions on that page to setup your controls. - The mixture control has three settings only, Idle/Cutoff, Normal and Full Rich. When set to Normal the mixture is automatically adjusted to provide the best air fuel mixture ratio. Do not have automixture enabled in FSX preferences. - The Supercharger is located on the throttle quadrant. The R1820-86A engine has a two stage supercharger. Use LOW blower for altitudes up to 15,000' and HIGH blower for altitudes above that. - Starting the engine. Ensure the battery is on and then right click on the starter button to run the auto start procedure.

    NORTH AMERICAN AVIATION T-28 TROJAN (RESTORATION TO FLIGHT STATUS) The well known North American Aviation T-28 Trojan is a piston- engine military trainer aircraft used by the United States Air Force and United States Navy beginning in the 1950s. Besides its use as a trainer, the T-28 was successfully employed as a counter-insurgency aircraft, primarily during the Vietnam War. It has continued in civilian use as an aerobatics and Warbird performer. Such a classic beauty couldn’t be absent from the Team’s inventory. Although not a pure aerobatic Warbird, nevertheless an ARF bird made by ESM was added 5 4 years ago to the fleet. The specs as given by the manufacturer are: Wing Span: 81" (2057 mm) Length: 63.5"(1613 mm) Wing area: 7.55 sq. ft (70.12 sq. dm) Wing Loading: 3 9.5 oz/sq. ft (117 g/sq. dm) Flying Weight: 18 lbs (8.2kg) Radio: 6ch&8 servos Gas Engine: 36cc – 55cc engines such as the PTE36 or the DLE-55. Glow Engine: 180 4-cycle Prop Recommendations: 3-blade is most common. 2 and 4 blades were also used. Servo Recommendations: 100 oz-sq-in minimum - HD-1501, Hitec 645MG, Hitec 5645MG, DS-8309TG An air retract system was installed controlled by an ON-OFF switch on the HITEC AURORA 9X radio. The T-28 operated problem- free for enough time, but when the bigger birds came in (PITTS Model 12 & YAK 54) it was put to storage in order to be re-enabled in the future.
