By using the lap-by-lap performance of each team along with the extent of sponsors’ exposure during a given race, Formulamoney has calculated the advertising value equivalent of team sponsorships factoring in the effects of race performance on brand visibility. The focus of the data is not time on-screen but is instead the global media value of each sponsor’s exposure. The data below covers all brands featured on the 2013 F1 cars and driver helmets, including sponsors, team owners and engine manufacturers. The data also includes the exposure achieved by the trackside advertisers at each race. The data is race-performance based so exposure is calculated for the duration of the race only and excludes branding of on-screen graphics. Exposure gained from pre-race events, the podium, practice sessions and qualifying is not included in the totals. Formulamoney also weights each race according to the size of its global television audience. This means that the most-watched races on the calendar are awarded a higher per second exposure value to account for their higher audience. An extra performance rating is applied for teams which have run in the top three during the race. Brands with less than $1,000 worth of exposure are not included. Team owner brands which are listed as sponsors on the teams’ websites are classed as sponsors here. In addition to the master table of brand exposure the ROI REVIEW also includes information on the teams’ share of voice and a team-by-team breakdown of exposure value. There is also a running tally of the total exposure of all brands throughout the 2013 season. The exposure data for the 2013 Australian Grand Prix is featured below. x 3. © Money Sport Media Limited. PRESS RELEASE MIES, 29/05/2020 FOR MORE INFORMATION: ISABELLE LARIVIÈRE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER [email protected] TEL +41 22 950 95 68 FIM Grand Prix World Championship 2020 Calendar, UPDATE 29 MAY British and Australian Grands Prix cancelled The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports regret to announce the cancellation of the British and Australian Grands Prix. The ongoing coronavirus outbreak and resulting calendar changes have obliged the cancellation of both events. The British Grand Prix was set to take place from 28 to 30 August at the classic Silverstone Circuit. Silverstone hosted the first Grands Prix held on the British mainland from 1977, and MotoGP™ returned to the illustrious track ten years ago. 2020 will now sadly mark the first year MotoGP™ sees no track action in the British Isles for the first time in the Championship’s more than 70-year history. The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix was set to take place at the legendary Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from 23 to 25 October. Phillip Island hosted the very first Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix in 1989 and since 1997 has been the only home of MotoGP™ Down Under - with its unique layout providing some of the greatest battles ever witnessed on two wheels. The cancellation of the British Grand Prix also obliges the cancellation of the corresponding British Talent Cup track activity at the same event. Stuart Pringle, Silverstone Managing Director: “We are extremely disappointed about the cancellation of the British MotoGP event, not least as the cancelled race in 2018 is still such a recent memory, but we support the decision that has had to be taken at this exceptional time.

The company is believed to have taken the decision after indications in Japan that the automotive markets are not getting any better, Honda having recently announced a 56% drop in earnings in the last quarter, compared to 2008. Prior to that the company was looking at other options, such as selling the team on to someone else. This has now been axed and the company will simply close things down and settle all the necessary contractual commitments as quickly as possible. The news, if confirmed, will be another blow to the manufacturer power in F1 as it will be the third withdrawal by a major car company in 11 months, following in the footsteps of Honda and BMW. There are also doubts about the future of Renault's factory team. The news will also be a blow to the Formula One Teams' Association, although the members have learned that working together produces much better results than trying to take on the authorities alone. It also means that there are now just three manufacturers left: Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault, and engine supply from Cosworth will become essential to ensure there are sufficient engines to go around.

  • Communiqué De Presse
Communiqué De Presse 12 AVRIL 2015 Chinese Grand Prix race report Today’s Chinese Grand Prix came to a disappointing conclusion with just one Renault powered car collecting points. Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo finished in ninth position, having recovered from a slow start off the line. Scuderia Toro Rosso passed the flag in 14th position with Carlos Sainz. Key race points: Daniel Ricciardo had a very slow start from seventh on the grid and dropped back to P17 at the end of the first lap. Despite setting a good pace, the Australian was caught in traffic and progress through the field was tricky. After a two stop race he finished in ninth. Daniil Kvyat retired on lap 16 with an ICE failure. Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen put in another fighting performance, overtaking multiple cars throughout the race. The Dutchman looked set for eighth position but just two laps from the end stopped suddenly on the pit straight with an ICE problem. Teammate Carlos Sainz enjoyed a good start, but spun on the second lap and dropped down the order. A reported gearbox problem mid race caused a momentary loss of power but heavy traffic made it difficult to make an impression on the field. The Spaniard came home in 14th. Rémi Taffin, Director of Operations: We had a number of issues in China and did not give the drivers the equipment they needed. We developed a car system problem in Qualifying on Daniel’s car so we changed the ICE as a precaution. Then we had two unforeseen failures in the race.

Communiqué De Presse 27 JUILLET 2014 Hungarian Grand Prix Race Report HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX RACE REPORT Infiniti Red Bull RacingRenault driver Daniel Ricciardo raced to victory in today’s absorbing Hungarian Grand Prix. Daniel’s win, the second for the team and for the Renault Energy F12014 Power Unit this season, came after a thrilling threeway battle for the lead with Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. Sebastian Vettel secured seventh position for Infiniti Red Bull Racing and JeanEric Vergne ninth for Scuderia Toro Rosso, putting three Renault Energy F12014 Power Units into the top ten. The result consolidates Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s second position in the constructors’ championship and Daniel Ricciardo’s third in the drivers’ race. Key race points: Daniel Ricciardo mastered the everevolving track conditions to move into the lead on lap 9 during the first safety car period. He retained the lead until the second deployment of the safety car and then pitted for a third time in the final third of the race. The Australian hunted down Rosberg for P3, then made a bravado move on Lewis Hamilton for second on lap 67. The next lap he outbraked Alonso into the first corner for the lead and eased out a cushion of five seconds to seal his second career win and the second for the Renault Energy F12014 Power Unit. Sebastian Vettel was sitting in the top three until the first safety car. Pulling into the pits a lap after the following pack dropped him down the field, into the middle of a closefought battle for fourth position with Vergne, Rosberg and Hamilton.
