Indonesia’s Best Corporations Recognized at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Indonesia Excellence Awards
Jakarta, Indonesia, October 23rd, 2012 – Frost & Sullivan today recognized exemplary corporations within the Automotive, Telecommunications & Information Technologies, Logistics, Healthcare and Chemicals industries in Indonesia at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Indonesia Excellence Awards banquet.
The Frost & Sullivan Indonesia Excellence Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development.
Welcoming the award recipients and guests, Eugene Van De Weerd, Country Director, Frost & Sullivan Indonesia said that the Award recipients will contribute to putting Indonesian companies on the global map of Excellence.
“We are extremely proud and happy to host the 5th annual awards in Indonesia to celebrate best practices in Indonesian companies. I am confident that this awards banquet will continue to be the most anticipated event of the year by the Indonesian business community,” he added.
Following Van De Weerd’s address, Bapak Garuda Sugardo, Board Director of Telecommunications of MASTEL, delivered an opening remarks highlighting the continuous cooperation between Frost & Sullivan and MASTEL for the past 4 years.
A total of 22 awards were presented to leading organizations including well-known home-grown players as well as multinational corporations operating in the local space in Indonesia.
The award winners include PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, Telkomsel, and PT Indosat Tbk in the Information & Communication Technologies sector. Other notable recipients include PT Astra Credit Companies, PT Huawei Tech Investment, PT Axis Telecom Indonesia, Siloam Hospitals, and PT Cipta Krida Bahari.
Recipients of the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Indonesia Excellence Awards were selected by industry analysts by comparing market participants and measuring performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research.
