Details of the programme are as follows: Date and Day Friday 02nd October 2020 Time 6.15 p.m. to 7.45 p.m Topic Panel Discussion: `Principles Enunciated by Gandhiji and their Practical Relevance Today’ Panelists CA Rashmin Sanghvi Ms Mittal Patel Mr Adhik Kadam About the topic: Gandhiji epitomized principle centred leadership. The values & principles on which he lived his entire life, are relevant today as much as they were in the past and will be in future. The Panelists would like to share their respective experience living steadfastly on these values and principles. About Panelists: CA Rashmin Sanghvi is a senior chartered Accountant. His contribution for welfare of mankind, economically vulnerable communities is remarkable. He is very closely associated with projects for water Management. He also supports various projects for betterment of mankind and environment. His book ‘Mara Dharma na Prayogo’ (my experiments with Dharma) is well received and appreciated. Mittal Patel is founder of Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch (VSSM) for the welfare of the most downtrodden Nomadic and De-Notified tribes. She is a recipient of many awards and recognitions. She is an Honorary member of Development and Welfare Board for Nomadic, Semi Nomadic and De-notified Communities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi. She was Honored with Nari Shakti Award at National Level for most significant work in the field of women empowerment by His Excellency Shri Ram Nath Kovind – the President of India on Womens’ Day 8th March 2018 at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Mr. Adhik Kadam: is an Indian social servant and philanthropist. He is on a peace building and peacekeeping mission, working in the conflict zones of Jammu and Kashmir. He is a co- founder and the chairman of Borderless World Foundation, which is an NGO that works for the deprived and victimized people of the border areas of India. The NGO runs four orphanage homes for girls in four districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Kadam's social work covers healthcare, education, women's empowerment, women's hygiene, arts and culture, and poverty alleviation at the grassroots. Who Can attend?
