Mon 1 Watjen Concert Organ Recital and Benaroya Hall Tour ~ Join Organist Joseph Adam for a free organ recital. Mr. Adam performs different selections from the vast organ repertoire highlighting the special nuances, interesting performance practices and stunning acoustics of the Watjen Concert Organ housed in Benaroya Hall. The visit with son is a respite for the adult daughter who is Isabel’s care provider. Isabel is sometimes in the present time and at other moments is dwelling in her early adult years. The sound effects and dialog indicate her focus: The sounds of waves crashing, indicate her young days and the rustling of leaves indicates the present time. Isabel mistakes her son for her husband when she thinks she is a young woman again on holiday at a beach. She relives her dismay when she learned that her husband had been secretly sending money to a mystery woman. Isabel was shocked to learn that the mystery recipient was her own mother, who had disowned her when she married. 1:30PM, QA. While pursuing a career in Emergency Medicine, a part-time position as the medical director of a small rural nursing home turned into a full-time and life-long passion for improving the well-being of older people. He developed models of care that are now being replicated nationwide as an alternative to traditionally-designed nursing homes.
