August Activity Highlights Mon 1 Watjen Concert Organ Recital and Benaroya Hall Tour ~ Join Organist Joseph Adam for a free organ recital. Mr. Adam performs different selections from the vast organ repertoire highlighting the special nuances, interesting performance practices and stunning acoustics of the Watjen Concert Organ housed in Benaroya Hall. The performance starts at 12:30 p.m. The program lasts approximately 30 minutes and a guided tour of the hall is also included. $20.00, BL 10:00AM. Mon 1 Panorama Rotary Lunch Meeting ~ Panorama residents and Panorama employees are invited to a no-host lunch at our satellite Rotary Club here at Panorama. Tue 2 Carr’s Organic Blueberry Farm ~ Enjoy 4-Acres of beautiful organic blueberry bushes loaded with berries this year. Owners, Tom & Wren will guide you through their farm with a short history talk and offer plenty of taste testing. Picking buckets and bags are provided. Berries are $2.50/lb. Tue 2 Panorama and Saint Martin University International Program presents Japanese Art Culture; Fundamentals of Calligraphy & Origami ~ Join students from Saint Martin’s University’s International Program as they share and teach more about the Japanese culture through art. These students range from 14-17 years old and will share with you the basic methods of mastering calligraphy & origami. We will play & elevate our consciousness by introducing learning’s and insights from Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, Gerald Heard, Dr. Bruce Lipton and others.
