Anastasia Paris was born in Kavala, Greece and graduated from the University of Piraeus with a degree in Business Administration and Management. She then obtained a Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Essex in England in 1985. She also received a second master's degree in Economics from the University of Bath in England in 1987. Furthermore, in 1990 she was awarded a PhD in Economics from the University of Bath in England. Her dissertation was on “Comparative Performance between Greek and UK Manufacturing Industries in the period 1963-84”. Since 1988 she has been teaching “Introduction to Management”, “Business Organization”, “Political Economy with Emphasis on Business Organization and Management”, “Human Resource Management”, “Leadership”, “Military Management”, “Leadership Management”, “Economics (I)” and “Cultural Awareness” in the Hellenic Military Academy, while since 2010 she holds the position of Lecturer in Political Economy, at this school. She has also taught in the private sector at the following institutions: University of Illinois in Athens and Larisa, University of La Verne in Athens and European University in Athens, and regarding the public sector she taught in the following institutions: University of Piraeus, Emporiki Bank, TEI of Piraeus, TEI of Chalkida, TEI of Chalkida- Thebes Branch (Logistics department). In addition, from October 2005 to September 2010 she taught Informatics as a Full Professor at the “Academy of Police Officers”. She has worked at the Technical College of Bath, England, as a Part-time Organizer and Lecturer in: Monetary Economics and Specialized Banking Economics. In addition, at the University of Bath, England, as a teaching staff member with a teaching mandate in the courses: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and International Economics. In addition, she has supervised more than 90 dissertations on “Political Economy”, “Leadership”, “Management”, “Human Resource Management”, “Military Management”, and “Leadership Management”. In addition, at the “European University” in Athens, she supervised two doctoral dissertations in English with subjects in “International Management” and “Military Leadership”. Her work includes more than 37 reputable scientific journals, books and scientific conferences. Specifically, she has 10 books, most of which are monographs and two of them in English and published on AmazonTM worldwide, 1 e-book published in USA worldwide, 27 articles, 10 conferences abroad and in Greece. She is a judge and has been a member of the Editorial Board of the “Global Business and Management Research: An International Journal” since 2008.
