Official Ginetta Cars Bulletin Winter Bulletin 03 Issued – February 2019 Ginetta Drivers/Teams, Vehicle Lifting Points And Official Ginetta Cars Bulletin Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 SuperCup Championship Winter Bulletin 03 Issued – February 2019 Ginetta Drivers/Teams, Vehicle Lifting Points and Tow Hooks For the 2019 season, all cars racing on the TOCA package will be required to have fixed lifting points attached, to enable a full vehicle lift. This is to allow quicker recovery of vehicles, and reducing the amount of potential damaged that may be occurred when trying to retrieve stricken vehicles. Additional to this, all vehicles must be fitted with cable front tow straps, replacing the previous fabric versions. Further information on the availability and fitting of both the lifting points and tow eyes will follow in the coming weeks. Drexler Differential The only eligible differential variant for the 2019 season will be the upgraded Drexler unit. Old Differential units can be upgraded to a Drexler, for further information, please contact Phil Addison in our sub-assembly department on 01133854138 or email [email protected] TOCA/BTCC Working from height regulation All Paddock vehicles that require personnel to be on the roof (i.e. to affix awnings or flag poles/flags) must have the relevant safety equipment fitted. Any personnel on the roof must wear the relevant safety harnesses which must be affixed to the equipment on the roof. This is stated in the regulations and can incur a £500 fine if not adhered to. Please note that there will be regular H&S checks during the course of the season. Paddock Parking Up for 2019 Unless stated otherwise in the pre-event bulletin, parking up will be from 08:00 to 13:00 on Thursday. As in previous years MSO will be in situ to do this. Golf Buggies ALL golf buggies or pit vehicles are to be parked either alongside or behind awnings or within the confines of your allocated space in the paddock. No golf buggies or pit vehicles are to be parked in the roadway. Tail Lifts No tail lifts are to be lowered until the cars for the last support race of the weekend (i.e. Ginetta, Porsche, F4 etc) have left Parc Ferme. Failure to adhere to this will result in a £500 fine. As in previous years, you cannot leave the paddock until the start of the third BTCC race and awnings may not be dismantled until after the start of the second BTCC race. SD Cards It is your responsibility to provide Ginetta with 4 SD cards that are compatible and work with the GoPro/VBox that you use in your car. These SD cards will be clearly marked with your race number and will be used for the season. Please provide us with these cards prior to the first round in a clearly marked envelope.
