Official Ginetta Cars Bulletin Winter Bulletin 01 Issued – 18 October Official Ginetta Cars Bulletin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup Championship Winter Bulletin 01 Issued – 18 October 2018 Ginetta Drivers/Teams, This is the first of a series of bulletins that will be issued over the coming months, the aim of which is to provide information to all our customers and partners with regards to car updates, championship information and other important news with reference to the 2019 season. Calendar The 2019 Ginetta GT4 SuperCup calendar is as follows: Rounds Circuit Dates 1,2,3 Brands Hatch 6th / 7th April 4,5,6 Donington Park 27th / 28th April 7,8,9 Croft 15th / 16th June 10,11 Oulton Park 29th / 30th June 12,13,14 Thruxton 17th / 18th August 15,16,17 Knockhill 14th / 15th September 18,19,20 Silverstone 28th /29th September 21,22,23 Brands Hatch 12th / 13th October All rounds will support British Touring Car Championship Race weekend format: Friday 2 x 40 minute Free Practice sessions Saturday & Sunday 1 x 20 Minute Qualifying 3 x 20 Minute Races Entry Fee Season Entry RRP - £14,950 +VAT Offer up to the close of play of the Autosport Show 2019 - £13,250 +VAT. Early Entry will include: • Friday testing included at all eight rounds • Free Championship Launch Day Entry • Free championship race suit (RRP £550 +VAT) • Six pit lane & six paddock BTCC Passes • Two Saturday & Two Sunday lunchtime meal passes (further tickets available on request for either day) • Free paddock generator hire ISSUED BY: STEPH BUSH – FOR AND ON BEHALF OF GINETTA CARS STEPH BUSH | T: 0113 385 3801 | M: 07808 187 553 | E: [email protected] Official Ginetta Cars Bulletin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup Championship Winter Bulletin 01 Issued – 18 October 2018 Championship Launch Day For the 2019 season, the Championship Launch Day will take place at Brands Hatch on Thursday 21st March, and will be exclusively for Ginetta GT4 SuperCup, and Ginetta Junior drivers, meaning more track-time will be available for all competitors on the day than in previous years. As before, this will also be an opportunity to collect season passes, decal packs, race suits, and offer an opportunity to test with the rest of the field before the start of the season. Engine Refreshes Any competitors requiring an engine refresh over the winter, please be aware it is important to get this booked in with the Ginetta engine department as earlier as possible. Availability for refreshes will decrease as the Winter goes on, so reserving a build slot early will avoid any potential disappointment closer to the start of the season. Please contact Clive Seddon (head of the engine department) directly on either 01133854154 or by email at [email protected] to arrange a build slot. Regulation Changes for 2019 - Mirrors - All GT4 SuperCup race car mirrors will be updated to help improve driver visibility, mirrors will be available to purchase shortly via [email protected]. Specific information will follow in a technical bulletin in the next coming weeks. - PDM/Switch Panel/Keypad Upgrade – An optional upgrade is available to replace the current fuse/relay block and switch pannel to a Motec PDM and key pad assembly. This will be available to purchase shortly via [email protected]. Specific information will follow in a technical bulletin in the next coming weeks. It’s knocking on the door of 100 international victories at the time of writing and we’re hoping to cross that milestone with yet another class victory in the 2018 Dubai 24 Hours.
