Government's resolution to build the cyclotron 1996 laboratory within the Slovak Institute of Metrology in Bratislava, using the liabilities of the Russian Federation and the facilities of the Joint Institute of Nuclear Sciences, Dubna. Co-operation project with IAEA "Radiochemical 1997 facilities for production of medical radionuclides" was launched. Government's resolutions on the $US 118 mil. 1999 planning and financing scheme for the years 2000- 2006 were approved. A general contract on the keyturn realisation of the CC 1999 SR between the Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing and the ATOMENERGOEXPORT (RF) was signed. TheThe CyclotronCyclotron CenterCenter ofof thethe SlovakSlovak RepublicRepublic ProjectProject A state run scientific center and production facility ensuring • the basic and applied research in nuclear physics, chemistry, biology and , • production of radionuclides and radiopharm- aceuticals, and • applications of heavy ions and electrone accelerator technologies in medicine and material science. 1.
