No. 929-3244, 927-9702 Loc.131; Cell phone: 09274560042 ___________________________________________________________________________________ DRUG PUSHER, MINOR FALL IN CAMARINES SUR BUY-BUST A suspected pusher and a 17-year old minor were arrested by anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) during a buy-bust operation in Camarines Sur on September 3, 2015. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspects as Richard Santos y Comprado, 25 years old; and a minor. Both suspects are residents of Zone 7, Peñafrancia, Naga City, Camarines Sur. At around 6:30 p.m., combined elements of PDEA Regional Office 5 (PDEA RO5) under the direct supervision of Director Bryan B. Babang and Naga City Police Office conducted a buy-bust operation along Riverside, Zone 4, Brgy. Peñafrancia, Naga City which resulted in the arrest of Santos and the minor after they agreed to sell four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer in exchange for P1,000. A case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed in court against Santos. Santos is temporarily detained at Naga City Police Office jail facility, while the minor was turned-over to Naga City Social and Welfare Development Office for custody. On September 3, 2015, at around 4:30 in the afternoon, the same law enforcement unit and Tinambac Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation against Roy Nathan Ignacio y Juntado, alias Tan-tan, 27, of Zone 2, Binalay, Tinambac, Camarines Sur which resulted in his arrest. Confiscated from Ignacio were five pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money used during the operation. Ignacio is now facing charges for violation of Sections 5, 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and 12 (Possession of Equipment and Other Drug Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165. He is temporarily detained at the Tinambac Municipal Police Station detention cell for custody. On September 3, 2015, at around 11:00 in the evening, joint elements of PDEA RO5, Albay Provincial Police Office-Provincial Intelligence Service and Polangui Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Bgry. Basud, Polangui, Albay against Jay Mella y General, 32, businessman, single, of Brgy. Basud, Polangui, Albay which resulted in his arrest after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer. Recovered from Mella were eight pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected shabu weighing approximately 8.842 grams and the buy-bust money. Mella is now charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165. # # # .

This includes customs, practices, places, objects, artistic expressions and values. It plays an essential role in society, and knowing its importance gives the people connection to the past, present and future generations, and its function in building a strong nation and its identity. The aim of this research is to record and profile the cultural properties adopting the cultural mapping framework utilized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). It mainly focuses on mapping the tangible and intangible cultural heritage that provide the “sense of place” and identity of Polangui, Albay which are significantly valuable through generations. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) framework for classifying the significant cultural properties found in the community was used in determining the cultural significance of a property, namely: Historical, Aesthetic, Scientific/Technical, and Social and/or Spiritual values. This study revealed that the municipality of Polangui has several cultural assets, and that should be given the highest order of protection, promotion and preservation by the local government unit. People have created their own amalgam of culture.

    31 October 2020 At 5:00 AM, TY "ROLLY" maintains its strength as it moves closer towards Bicol Region. The eye of Typhoon "ROLLY" was located based on all available data at 655 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes. TCWS No. 2 was raised over Catanduanes, the eastern portion of Camarines Sur, Albay, and Sorsogon. While TCWS No.1 was raised over Camarines Norte, the rest of Camarines Sur, Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands, Quezon including Polillo Islands, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Marinduque, Romblon, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island, Oriental Mindoro, Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Aurora, Pangasinan, Benguet, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and the southern portion of Isabela, Northern Samar, the northern portion of Samar, the northern portion of Eastern Samar, and the northern portion of Biliran. At 7:00 PM, the eye of TY "ROLLY" was located based on all available data at 280 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes. "ROLLY" maintains its strength as it threatens Bicol Region. The center of the eye of the typhoon is likely to make landfall over Catanduanes early morning of 01 November 2020, then it will pass over mainland Camarines Provinces tomorrow morning, and over mainland Quezon tomorrow afternoon. At 10:00 PM, the eye of TY "ROLLY" was located based on all available data including those from Virac and Daet Doppler Weather Radars at 185 km East of Virac, Catanduanes. Bicol Region is now under serious threat as TY "ROLLY" continues to move closer towards Catanduanes. Violent winds and intense to torrential rainfall associated with the inner rainband-eyewall region will be experienced over (1) Catanduanes tonight through morning; (2) Camarines Provinces and the northern portion of Albay including Rapu-Rapu Islands tomorrow early morning through afternoon.

I. About the SIte The province of Albay is located in the Bicol Region in Luzon (one of the three island groups in the country). Its capital is Legazpi City. Mayon Volcano is the symbol most associated with the province. This nearly perfectly-shaped active volcano forms a scenic backdrop to the capital city of Legazpi 15 kilometers to the south. Geography. Albay province is located in the southern part of Luzon. The province is bounded by the Lagonoy Gulf and Camarines Sur on the north-northwest; the Pacific Ocean on the east; the province of Sorsogon on the south; and the Burias Pass on the southeast. Figure 1. Albay Map Albay has a total land area of 2,552.6 square kilometers or 255,257 hectares, which is 14.5% of the Bicol Region’s total land area. It is the 2 26th smallest province in the country.
