DTX Guide – Part 3: SOURCE Display and MIDI

This is the third part of the Quick Guide for the Yamaha DTX series, which refers to the electronic drums („E-Drums“) DTXTREME III, DTX900K, and DTX950K.

The last part ended with a description of how to create a new Drum Kit from Voice Sets.

In this issue we describe how to edit Drum Kits by assigning other Voices to the Pad Zones using the SOURCE display.

Then we deal with MIDI note numbers and their role in the programming of Drum Kits.

The following contains a selection of questions and their answers concerning Yamaha synthesizers, found in the Yamaha Synth Forum and answered by the Yamaha Europe Support Team.
