Following the resignation of the Member for Haltemprice & Howden, David Davis, on 18 June 2008, there will be a by-election. Details to be announced. Summer Opening of Parliament 2008 The Houses of Parliament will open this summer from July 28th to September 27th (inclusive), with tours operating Monday to Saturday; there are no tours on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
