By using recycled fiber in place of virgin fiber, the Carnegie Institution preserved 13 trees, saved 36 pounds of waterborne waste, saved 5,352 gallons of water, and prevented 2,063 pounds of green- house gasses. The energy used to print the report was produced by wind power.
