Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 06 October 2015 It was AGREED that the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 06 October 2015 be APPROVED as a true record. The minutes were signed by the Chairman. It was noted that the banking forms are still awaited from one of the new cheque signatories. 2. Apologies for absence Apologies were accepted from Cllr. Bumphrey (work commitments). Apologies were noted from County Cllr. Northam and PCSO Holmes. 3. Declarations of Interest & Dispensations in respect of Disclosable Pecuniary Interests Cllr. Riggott declared an interest in matters relating to the allotments. 4. Public Participation The members of the public did not wish to address the meeting. 5. River Mun Mr. Anderson provided an update in respect of the River Mun project and advised that Jonathan Lewis is to continue the work via a 4 year PHD project financed by the Norfolk Rivers Trust. Long term it is hoped that the quality of the lake will improve and fish can be returned. It was noted that a remembrance service is to be held and a plaque erected at Templewood to commemorate 75 years since a plane crashed at the site. -

Parish Registers and Transcripts in the Norfolk Record Office
Parish Registers and Transcripts in the Norfolk Record Office This list summarises the Norfolk Record Office’s (NRO’s) holdings of parish (Church of England) registers and of transcripts and other copies of them. Parish Registers The NRO holds registers of baptisms, marriages, burials and banns of marriage for most parishes in the Diocese of Norwich (including Suffolk parishes in and near Lowestoft in the deanery of Lothingland) and part of the Diocese of Ely in south-west Norfolk (parishes in the deanery of Fincham and Feltwell). Some Norfolk parish records remain in the churches, especially more recent registers, which may be still in use. In the extreme west of the county, records for parishes in the deanery of Wisbech Lynn Marshland are deposited in the Wisbech and Fenland Museum, whilst Welney parish records are at the Cambridgeshire Record Office. The covering dates of registers in the following list do not conceal any gaps of more than ten years; for the populous urban parishes (such as Great Yarmouth) smaller gaps are indicated. Whenever microfiche or microfilm copies are available they must be used in place of the original registers, some of which are unfit for production. A few parish registers have been digitally photographed and the images are available on computers in the NRO's searchroom. The digital images were produced as a result of partnership projects with other groups and organizations, so we are not able to supply copies of whole registers (either as hard copies or on CD or in any other digital format), although in most cases we have permission to provide printout copies of individual entries. -

From the roadside lay-by, you walk for about ¾ mile through the Overy Marshes and then go up onto the sea wall. Here you join the Norfolk Coast Path from Burnham Overy Staithe to Wells-next-the-Sea. This is the footpath that you would be on if you started from Overy Staithe. It is a good, hard-surfaced path for about another ¾ mile, ending in a boardwalk as it approaches the sandy beach. Now the Coast Path bears right across the sands, but you bear left for Gun Hill. -

STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS 2004 No. 418 HOUSING, ENGLAND The Housing (Right to Buy) (Designated Rural Areas and Designated Regions) (England) Order 2004 Made - - - - 20th February 2004 Laid before Parliament 25th February 2004 Coming into force - - 17th March 2004 The First Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 157(1)(c) and 3(a) of the Housing Act 1985(1) hereby makes the following Order: Citation, commencement and interpretation 1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Housing (Right to Buy) (Designated Rural Areas and Designated Regions) (England) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 17th March 2004. (2) In this Order “the Act” means the Housing Act 1985. Designated rural areas 2. The areas specified in the Schedule are designated as rural areas for the purposes of section 157 of the Act. Designated regions 3.—(1) In relation to a dwelling-house which is situated in a rural area designated by article 2 and listed in Part 1 of the Schedule, the designated region for the purposes of section 157(3) of the Act shall be the district of Forest of Dean. (2) In relation to a dwelling-house which is situated in a rural area designated by article 2 and listed in Part 2 of the Schedule, the designated region for the purposes of section 157(3) of the Act shall be the district of Rochford. Environment, Development and Transport Committee Item No. Report title: Highway Parish Partnership Schemes 2018/19 Date of meeting: 16 March 2018 Responsible Chief Tom McCabe – Executive Director, Community Officer: and Environmental Services Strategic impact The Parish Partnership programme delivers small highway improvements which are considered a priority by local communities and support Local Transport Plan (LTP) objectives. It is also covered by a “vital signs” performance indicator. In March 2017, EDT Committee agreed to continue the programme using £300,000 of the highway improvements budget to fund up to 50% of each bid, with consideration of increased contributions for parish councils with incomes below £2,000. Additionally on 19 January 2018 the committee agreed to boost this provisional by £25,000 for the next 4- years utilising some of the additional £20m investment from our members in highways. Executive summary This report sets out the proposed parish partnership programme for 2018/19 following analysis and review of the applications submitted. Recommendations EDT Committee is asked to: 1. Approve all bids listed in Appendix B for inclusion in the Parish Partnership Programme for 2018/19. 1. Background 1.1. The Parish Partnership Scheme began in September 2011, when Parish and Town Councils were invited to submit bids for local highway improvements, with the County Council initially funding up to 50% of bid costs. Funding is therefore targeted to meet needs identified at a local level and helps us to support and promote our role in enabling communities. 1.2. The programme has been well received by Parish/Town Councils and members and feedback has been very positive from communities.
