The Walter R. Bauman Aquatic Center will open for the season on June 5. The outdoor facility includes zero-depth pool entrance, an eight POOL RESERVATIONS lane competition pool, as well as a diving well. 2021 MIDDLETON GATORS: SUMMER SWIM & DIVE TEAM

The Middleton Gators Swim & Dive Team provides an exciting, challenging, educational and FUN environment for swimmers and divers throughout the summer. We pride ourselves on creating a positive experience for children of all skill levels. Our goal is to teach the value of team cooperation, safety, hard work, and the pursuit of personal excellence. Through the Middleton Gators experience, we hope to give your children memories and tools to help build a healthy and happy future. The Gators Team is open to anyone 5 to 18 years of age. Swimmers and divers must have passed Level 4 of Red Cross Swimming Lessons (or equivalent) and must also demonstrate the ability to complete the majority of a practice in order to participate on the team. For all new 10 & under members the week of June 7th through June 11th will serve as an evaluation period. Registration Scholarships are available; please refer to the team website for details. All swimmers and divers are strongly encouraged to participate in the entire season, ending with the All-City Championship meet. The All-City 2021 Dive meet is July 26 & 27. The All-City Swim 2021 meet is July 29, 30, & 31.

This instructional program will offer kids first-hand exposure to Middleton! Pitch, Hit and Run is a free one-day skills competition for boys the game of baseball. CONSERVANCY LANDS Pheasant Branch Creek Corridor Update This past winter has been spent in the design and engineering process for reconstruction and restoration of the trail, bridges, stream alignment, and bank stabilization throughout the corridor. This will be finalized in May of this year with the intent to have reconstruction start and finish still in 2021. This is dependent upon federal FEMA approvals however, and this has proven to take time. We are all hopeful to have this done this year! Access Ability Outdoor Wheelchair Rentals An outdoor wheelchair is available for reservation by the public at no cost. The wheelchair is stored at Orchid Heights Park and can be reserved online similar to our park shelters. All reservations require a $50 refundable, security deposit.
