Information from the meeting Arima Hot Springs Tourism Association reported that they will organize “Thailand-Arima Cultural Exchange Programs” at Arima Onsen on Feb.11-Mar.11, and handed over the written request to TTC & TAT. [Outline of the event] -Title: Thailand-Arima Cultural Exchange Programs -Organizer: Arima Hot Springs Tourism Association -Place: Arund Onsenji Temple in Arima Onsen (Kita-ku, Kobe-city, Hyogo Pref., Japan) -Date: Feb.11 (Sat.)-Mar.11 (Sun.), 2012 Mar.11 (Sun.), the last day of the event is the anniversary day of the Great East Japan Earthquake. -Purpose: To promote mutual exchanges between Thailand and Arima, as most famous spa destinations To make a wish for Japan and Thailand, both disaster-affected countries’ recovery -Supporters: Kobe-city, Hyogo-prefecture, (to be confirmed) Thai Consulate General Osaka Thai Trade Center, Osaka Tourism Authority of Thailand, Osaka office Thai Airways International [Requests to TTC] -Advice for total planning -Coordinate for Thai handicrafts fair & Thai food stands (yatai) -Support for Thai promotion panels & products exhibition. -Support for coordination with related Thai offices in Kansai area -PR support

4. Result of meeting: Mr. Kanai, PR Director of Arima Hot Springs Tourism Association show places for “Thailand-Arima Cultural Exchange Programs” and briefed outline of the event to TTC & TAT Osaka.

Both TTC and TAT answered that we are willing to support Arima upon their request, and TTC will help Arima to set up room for Thai promotional panels & products exhibition on Feb.10.

TTC advised Arima to send request letters directly to Thai Consulate-General Osaka and Thai Int’l Airways.
